I think it's a shame when this happens to anyone. He apparently can't handle whatever stress is going on in his life, especially if his long-time best friend was killed last year, and is falling apart. Hopefully he can recover sometime soon.

I'm sorry, but I've mentioned time and time again in this thread about respecting our fellow Schmoes. I'm closing this down if you guys can't get along. Last and final warning.

Undergroud rap is underground for a reason... not many people want to hear battle rappers try to sound like the ones that have actually made it. Oh and since I've obviously listed 8 of the top 10 rappers EVER and you think it's shit... please post your top 5 list as well. Should be a good laugh not recognizing a single name. Quote: Origi...

At the rate Eminem and his career are going, there will be plenty of chances to analogize with Titanic.

Oldboj's posts in this thread are tremendously bad. I suppose he thinks Titanic is the best movie ever, since it made so much money.

Snoop Dogg's lyrics are often questionable, but his tone and how he syncopates is really ace. Yeah, there's a ton of rappers making better tracks, but I really think Snoop has a great approach with his style, and one of the better voices in rap. I just wish he'd do more work with Dre or some great producers, or a producer who can get more out of him. Since Doggy Style, his tracks have ran from mediocre or average with the occasional get-up-and-dance song that's got a good enough hook to move you, but nothing really that makes you stand up and listen. About Eminem, someone asked about him being bored leading to his um, weight issue --- And I say, "What the hell?" Can't a mutherfucker just like to eat anymore? Eminem always ran his fucking mouth so much that it's no doubt that when people stopped listening he needed to find something to do with his flapping gums. It's better that he stuck a Big Mac in it instead of a shotgun.... Quote: "You can't spell crap with out rap..." Yeah, and no on...

If I had to put him in a number, I'd say he was Top 20 of all-time. Very talented lyricist Eminem is, when he wants to be. Almost all musicians get lazy and uninspired when they hit big, they really have no drive anymore. And you can't blame em - if I was a multi-millionaire with everything in the world at your fingertips, why would I go back to work? Well if all he listens to is mainstream, then of course he might list Snoop Dogg and Ludacris. They are his opinions regardless and I thought we were supposed to respect other people's opinions here. Just because they are not your opinions doesn't make them wrong.

This is pretty interesting: (From Stuff) Quote: The rapper has been added to the line-up for the former South Africa President's milestone celebrations at London's Hyde Park after Queen rocker Brian May persuaded him to come out of retirement. A source said: "Brian contacted Eminem's management but never expected him to agree. It's going to be explosive stuff and it's certainly a big stage to make his comeback." While Mandela is famed for his humanitarian work, Eminem has caused controversy with his song lyrics, which have been accused of being violent, homophobic, misogynist and racist. Meanwhile, Geri Halliwell has promised to give Mandela a special treat for his 90th birthday. The Spice Girl – who is rumoured to be headlining the concert later this year with the rest of the band – wants to make his celebrations extra special. She said: "I'll have to get in touch with him. Perhaps I'll send him a personal video message." Mandela was first introduced to the Spice Girls in 1997, during t...
