Yeah but the show fucking ruined it later when we find out that Dylan's father isn't dead but in actuality it was staged by the FBI and he was put in the witness protection. Hence why I had the word kill in paranthesis. They ruined one of the best storylines with one of the cheesiest, most asinine twists in television and movie history. Ugh.
