Im not saying it would be total shit or anything, because i think theres plenty of talented directors capable of doing it right, its just that i think the usual Hollywood studio bullshit would water many things down to the point that its not really recognizable as anything other then an action fest. If Hollywood adapted Evangelion I'd be surprised if it didn't end up being Transformers but with Eva's and Angels, no deeper story/characters/religious aspects etc. | | Static Link |

Given how Hollywood tones down all religious aspects of any book they get ahold of(Golden Compass, Da vinci Code) id say major changes would be underway. Id say giant action movie with tweens versus space monsters. Religious under tones go bye-bye, as well as alot of unnerving character moments from the main team. I think it would get turned into a gaint action movie with amazing special effects, but it would stop there. Only part of what made the show worth watching would make it to the big screen. | | Static Link |
