just a few questions: * what are your favourites from the genre? It's hard to pick a few because I love the genre so much but I would have to say my 3 favorites at this moment are Once upon a time in the West, The Good, the Bad and the Ugly and The Wild Bunch. * who's your favourite villain? Jack Palance as John in Compaņeros. I mean, he smokes herb and has a pet hawk, what's not to like? Plus he's just such a bastard! * Wayne vs Eastwood Motherfuck John Wayne...Eastwood can't be touched. * Ford vs Leone vs Mann vs Peckinpah vs Eastwood vs Hawks vs Huston Leone, no question.

-See right. -"It happens / I'm feeling glad / I got sunshine / in a bag / I'm useless / But not for long..." Put it together... -Villain? Dagget from 'Unforgiven' -Sergio Leone The Dollars trilogy, specifically 'TG, TB, and TU', is the ideal quintessence of Westerns, everythign the genre SHOULD be.

Like the other man said, it's Anthony Mann. And you're right about Eastwood, i'll add him to the director's shootout.

There's no better director in the Western genre. I'd also add Henry Fonda as Frank as one of the best villains. But I'll be damned if Lee Van Cleef doesn't have the best sneer!

* what are your favourites from the genre? The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly (Yay for typical answers!), The Wild Bunch, and Quigley Down Under... * who's your favourite villain? You can't beat Alan Rickman as Elliott Marston. * Wayne vs Eastwood There's a totally different draw and appeal to each, I can't pick between the two. * Ford vs Leone vs Mann vs Peckinpah I gotta give it too Leone
