The former puts you in a much healthier category, I would think, as most guys under the age of 25 probably toss one off to Nat on a semi-regular basis. Nothing too wrong there. The latter, well, would...let's just leave that one be. Me, I'm a 4. Love entertainment, but more interested in the creative, behind-the-scenes side of stuff. I'm sick to death of seeing magazine covers about who's tapping so and so.

I guess Im a 4 Im interested in directors careers, what movies they have made and even their over all out look on life and what they try to say through their movies. But I could careless about their personal lives. Like how many kids they have, if they are married, what school their kids go to, if they are going to have twins...shit like that I care nothing for. For example, Im a Terry Gilliam fan, but I dont know anything about his personal life. His work, his films, his message in them is what I care about.

I wonder if any of us was a #2 or #3 if we would confess? I also wonder if #3's and #4's know that they are what they are, just like if schizophrenics know what they are, or is it more of an addiction?

Since you guys enjoy making lists so much lets play a little game. The study below states three levels of SWS, which, if any, do you fall into? A third of people reportedly suffer from Celebrity Worship Syndrome, a fascination in the lives of the rich and famous that can become a dangerous addiction. Psychologists Lynn McCutcheon of DeVry University in Florida and James Houran of the Southern Illinois University School of Medicine interviewed more than 600 people about their personality and interest in celebrities. They were asked to rate statements such as "I am obsessed by details of my favourite celebrity's life", "I consider my favourite celebrity to be my soul mate" and "If he/she asked me to do something illegal as a favour, I would probably do it." The responses cast doubt on the conventional view that celebrity worship is categorised into pathological and non-pathological cases -- in other words, harmless fun and obsession. Instead, the replies pointed to a "sliding...
