No it's not 5 stars, but I gave it 4 1/2, one of my favorite movies of the year.

Oh, I definitely would rent it. I only do blind buys for something I can't rent (that I want to see) and or Marvel direct to DVD movies (if they look cool).

If you haven't seen John From Cincinnati yet, you might want to rent it first. I loved Deadwood (another David Milch show) and the cast, but I lost interest halfway through the season and quit watching. But I have some friends who loved JFC, so who knows? You might like it. But I would definitely advise against a blind buy.

Heh - no, "Sweeney", "Clover" and "AVP:R" are just the top 3 "most wanted" DVDs on my April list. "Juno", "Golden Compass", "American Dad: Volume 3"... the list goes on and on, and considering I usually try to keep it to no more than a couple of DVDs a month, I'm certainly in trouble!

If 3's all you're getting, you're good I don't look more than a week in advance, helps keep the pain to a minimum

...and it begins. "Sweeney Todd", "Cloverfield", "Alien vs. Predator: Requiem" - April is so filled with huge DVD releases, I don't know how I'm ever gonna afford 'em all!

I've got a hookup with a Costco card, so that's the Sweeney I'll end up getting. Nuts to that Steelbook, forgot how sweet the default 2-disc cover looks.

New stuff Alvin And The Chipmunks (1D,2D SD/BD) - Helium whiffs rule. Film Review Resurrecting The Champ - Say it ain't so...an SLJ flick that's not 5 stars? DVD Review Sweeney Todd (1D/2D with optional extras) - Burton & Depp. 'Nuff said. Film Review The Water Horse (SD/BD) - Misleading title. I was expecting a hippopotamus documentary. Film Review Fresh out of the TARDIS
Doctor Who #70: The Time Warrior
Doctor Who #142: Timelash
Only...geeze, hundreds still to go probably. There's DECADES of this show, for bloody sakes! Now on Blu-Ray Coyote Ugly - "Maybe it just needs salt and a lemon to help it go down okay." - From the Unrated DVD review (Both versions included on the Blu-Ray, from what I can tell) Hidalgo - "It’s nice to see a movie about horses that’s actually interested in letting us connect with its animal lead, instead of just using him the way Tony Hawk uses his skateboard." - From the original Film review Unbreakable - Because there was a time when M. Night had talent. Film Review...
