And there are some unintentionally funny moments throughout, not surprisingly. But it held my attention for most of the movie and did manage to have a few freaky moments (not scary but freaky). Basically it's like a lamer version of What Lies Beneath except Rachel Taylor is no Michelle Pfieffer and Joshua Jackson is no Harrison Ford. And while I thought the ending to What Lies Beneath was a little lame it's a friggin' masterpiece compared to the ending of this movie. 5/10 RENT THE ORIGINAL

Soso film, the acting was pretty decent but other than that it wasn't very good and not remotely as creepy as the original... but no surprises there. 5/10

Seriously, as I am not a fan of the Asian Horror to begin with. For me there is too much going on but I think this year some of the beter asian remakes are coming out and I did have high doubts about this one but in comparison to the orginial i think it is one of the better remakes since "The Ring". So go ahead and bash me if you want for my opinion but seriously I did enjoy this one alot now there were some minor differeneces but overall i thought it stuck closely enough to the plot of the orginial just was a honeymoon instead of a graduation . The only thing i really didn't like about this one was that they slightly altered the ending. It was still the same general concept but I liked the way they went about the ending in the orginal one. Overall it wasn't bad but surely it wasn't what you would call a masterpiece. Yes it did have some flaws but I found it very enjoyable and that is not an easy task considering the circumstances that the only Japenese Remakes i liked in the last 10 years were THe...

I forgot to add one minor plus for the movie is that it's gorgeously shot. It's a good looking movie.

My gf and I only went to see it because we like looking at real/fake (Who knows!) ghost photographs. I knew this movie would stink. I had hoped for at least some cool freaky moments of which I got 1. Looking at photos on the internet, even if they are fake is more entertaining than this movie. 4/10 I may give the original version a chance though, it seems to be well recieved.
