It looks like Shatner will get the last laugh when the Bruce Campbell/William Shatner project rolls into theaters the same week as the new Star Trek. Fuck yeah! Quote: As soon as Boston Legal wraps I'll be starting on the sci-fi/zombie project with my good friend Bruce Campbell. We're hoping to get it rolling out the same weekend as Star Trek. The fans will want to see Shatner somewhere, and with Bruce Campell on board, I think we're in store for something really big here. -Source, ShatnerVision.com | | Static Link |

It's been way too long since I last watched Wrath of Kahn. Thanks for the memories. "Ah, Kirk, my old friend, do you know the Klingon proverb that tells us revenge is a dish that is best served cold? It is very cold in space!" "I've done far worse than kill you, Admiral. I've hurt you. And I wish to go on hurting you. I shall leave you as you left me, as you left her: marooned for all eternity in the center of a dead planet, buried alive. Buried alive." Full version of before. "These people have sworn to live and die at my command two hundred years before you were born. Do you mean he never told you the tale? To amuse your Captain, no? Never told you how the Enterprise picked up the Botany Bay lost in space from the year 1996 with myself and ship's company in cryogenic freeze? " | | Static Link |

Am I the only one who really digs the concept there? That was live TV. The bit at the end, where there are three Shatners on screen, two of them pre-recorded and the one sitting live... The way they all look back and forth as each one does the lyrics - That's fucking amazing. There, I said it. | | Static Link |

Forum: JoBlo | | Even worse, IMO, is that Shatner has actually stated that he doesn't understand why Nimoy gets an appearance, but not him. He notes that bringing in new actors is one thing, but then to turn around and pick and choose to bring back one original actor, but not any others - it's sort of a slap in the face to the fans. I totally get that too. It's also a little bit more of an insult considering they are using two different actors to portray the character he made famous. And that's one thing, but then to give Nimoy a chance to be part of it, but no one else... Don't get me wrong, he was very cool and laid back about the whole thing, but I think the fact he brought it up says enough. | | Static Link |

Bill turned 77 years old today, and let's hope he sees many more years. I'm gonna re-watch all 79 pisodes of TOS over the next few weeks to celebrate in my own way. LOVE TREK!
