Alright. Maybe I sound harsh toward China. But, I wouldn't mind if the government and any of the idiots that run it and it's supporters should be dealt with before it's too late. If China weren't the way they are now, I don't think I'd really care to be honest. But, since I keep hearing such absurd crap coming from that country, it pisses me off more and more. I'm not saying either I'm not proud of my heritage. I respect the history and the culture. If it wasn't for my bloodline, we wouldn't have certain things in our lives today we depend on. I'm just not proud of the current state of that country today. It wouldn't bother me if someone did throw a monkeywrench in that country and saved us the trouble of a few million chinese. I kind of think we're more like cockroaches. Kill one and there's probably millions more hiding out somewhere.

I don't think I ever saw someone hating so much on their own country/roots. Wipe it off the map? Damn, sounded like you were actually serious when you agreed with Blazer who was just joking...

And yeah, if they're so stuck up the ass about censorship, why bother making movies in the first place? They should stick to their overproduced, sappy, nationalistic crap for music that no one else in the world cares about.

I hate communism but I will always respect China for their history, and I'm not even chinese. They'll rule the world soon enough, then we'll be talking about more than censorship..

With 300 and a half million people here already, it's only a matter of time before over-population becomes a problem here too. I've got a REAL fucking problem with people breeding just because they CAN, and not because they fucking SHOULD. Anyway, those rules about movie censorship are just asinine. Which is why you got every fucking Chinese family illegally migrating to other foreign countries and bring their whole clan along! Don't get me wrong! I'm chinese and I have been aware of this problem for so long. I was born in the states and educated here. But, I've noticed a huge population boom among the Chinese in the US since I was a kid. Before I was like, one of the few chinese kids in my c...

It's a communist republic, does this come as a surprise to anyone? And it's not even shocking that a country like this could possibly vie as a legitimate leading force in the "free world"; since WWII ultra-communist USSR had been the other major weight in the world alongside the USA; now it's just been replaced by an equally crazy country. I mean, forget film censorship - it is fucking prohibited to have more than one child in China! How's THAT for totalitarian governing?!

On March 3, The Chinese State Administration of Radio, Film and Television (SARFT) sent an internal notice to all movie studios in China to further tighten the country's already very tight film censorship policy. This notice was issued when the public outcry for a movie grading system was at the all time high. The first victim of this notice is believed to be Wang Xiaoshuai's In Love We Trust, ordered to be re-edited after being greenlighted by the SARFT and after winning a Silver Berlin Bear for it's screenplay last month. Here is an highlight of the internal notice: The following are prohibited in films: 1. Violations against the fundamental principle of the Constitution; 2. Threats against the national unification and the integrity of the (national) sovereignty and (national) territory. 3. Leaking of national secrets, violation against the national security and harming the national honors and national interests. 4. Inciting ethic hatred and ethic discrimination, harming ethnic solidarity of ethic groups, ...
