That movie made me order a flux capacitor from 'Forbidden Planet' and, even though I knew in my heart of hearts that it was just a toy replica, I still tried to modify it so that I could jump on my moped and go back in time to shoot the cast and crew in the face...with Han Solo's blaster, which I bought on impulse when I was purchasing the flux capacitor. I didn't make it, though, 'cos my moped can't reach the necessary 88 miles per hour required for time-travel. Plus, it was just a toy one.

I didn't mind Disney's Cars, but I absolutely cannot stand The Incredibles. I kept checking the clock to see how much longer the movie had because it was not keeping my attention.

I love him so much i have his films separate from the rest of my dvds, above them, but oddly bottle rocket is not filled with them, neither badcoverversion or i have ever watched it. To be honest the only films i have ever watched are diehard and indiana jones, all the opinions i have are bases on stuff i've read on the internet. badcoverversion has only ever watched grease 2 and sister act, shhh don't tell.

It's been so long since I've seen Bottle Rocket that I need to rewatch to give a fair chance but I recall finding it to be very uneven. Rushmore I loved and would rank just under Royal Tenenbaums. It's his second best and Darjeeling Limited is his third. Although I think with another rewatch, I could end up puting Darjeeling a head of Rushmore. I think it's the kind of movie that I'll like even more on rewatch.

I gotta be honest I dont care for any of Wes Andersons movies and I cant understand why I dont like em because they have great casts (Gene Hackman, Bill Murray, Owen Wilson, Ben Stiller, Danny Glover) I really should like this guys movies but I just cant get into them and I like movies that were similar like I Heart Huckabees. When Ive watched his movies it honestly seems like the actors are taking the humor why too seriously (if that makes even since) its like their begging me to laugh at some of their stuff. Maybe it just goes over my head I dont know I cant even really put a finger on it. I know probably gonna get shit for that

The Royal Tenenbaums is still my favorite Wes Anderson and is a PERFECT mix of comedy and drama working wonderfully as both, featuring great performances from a stellar cast (especially the wonderful Gene Hackman in a note perfect performance). Infact, it's a masterpiece. I don't think Anderson will ever make a better movie. That's how much I loved it. For me it goes Darjeeling > Life Acquatic > Tenenbaums.....

I've seen two Hitchcock flicks and I liked them both. Gave them both a 7/10. So while I didn't love them I did like them. Them happens to be Psycho and North by Northwest. As for Kubrick, well other than The Shining, I've liked some of his movies. Eyes Wide Shut, Paths of Glory and Spartacus got good rating my by me (an 8 for Eyes Wide Shut and 7 for Glory and Spartacus). And while I gave 2001 a 6 I still enjoyed it for the first two thirds. So I don't have any real problems with either Kubrick or Hitchcock.
