Wouldn't surprise me if Eddie Murphy doesn't cry racial bias. Or maybe John wasn't using a fat suit after all. Instead we get Hairspray, no Bale, no Crowe, no Jackson, no Ricci, no "Stackolee". GAAAA. Yes, there were a few surprises, but not enough to make me come down off my high horse. | | Static Link |

The other ones I could've seen a mile off. My predictions.... BEST MOTION PICTURE – DRAMA THERE WILL BE BLOOD PTA is back. With one of those navel-gazing slow-burning experimental dramas. Gonna take a risk on it. BEST PERFORMANCE BY AN ACTRESS IN A MOTION PICTURE – DRAMA
ANGELINA JOLIE – A MIGHTY HEART Not because she necessrily deserves it, maybe she does I hear she's good in it, but it's an actress in fake-up (white girl playing mixed race) battling melodramatic issues film so she'll win without a blink. BEST PERFORMANCE BY AN ACTOR IN A MOTION PICTURE – DRAMA GEORGE CLOONEY – MICHAEL CLAYTON I never saw Michael Clayton but the trailer had George Clooney doing that Sean Bean in LOTR thing where at any point you could expect him to turn to the screen and ask "Oscar please?". BEST MOTION PICTURE – COMEDY OR MUSICAL
CHARLIE WILSON’S WAR Come on, Tom Hanks has an Oscar bait movie out, it has to... | | Read Entire Entry |
