| Posted by: fafhrd at December 14, 2007, 12:40 am | | Topic: WORST MOVIE OF 2007? Forum: Film Hobbit | | I liked Spidey 3, to start off with. It wasn't the greatness of Spidey 2, but it's still good. Worst movie I've seen this year? Either Shrek 3 or Hitman. Both were bad, but at least Hitman was bad enough to laugh at. After the first half hour, they gave up trying with Shrek. Fafhrd | | Static Link |
| Posted by: Cup of Jabba at December 14, 2007, 12:29 am | | Topic: WORST MOVIE OF 2007? Forum: Film Hobbit | | Yeah... I had no motivation to see Chuck & Larry. However, the only good thing I can say about the film (without having seen it) is that naughty kitten Jessica Biel is in it. That reason alone should bring it out off the worst film category, no? | | Static Link |
| Posted by: Milo at December 14, 2007, 12:13 am | | Topic: WORST MOVIE OF 2007? Forum: Film Hobbit | | No no no no no. I'm sure any of the very few who've seen it would have to agree that Good Luck Chuck may be the dumbest, stupidest, worst, silliest, worst (yeah I said it twice) movie of the decade, and certainly the year. It hurts to say it but even Spidey 3 was better. The only positive thing I can say about it is that I was at least able to make it home before I had to purge. | | Static Link |

Delta Farce Norbit Firehouse Dog Epic Movie D-War: Dragon Wars I could easily vote on Zombie's Halloween for being the worst flick of the year, but just because it offended the hell out of my sensibility and flat out shit in the mouth of my childhood, it shouldn't make me biast, should it? | | Static Link |

I pretty much considered it a thriller comedy and I actually found it entertaining. Was it bad movie? Sure. I probably won’t see it ever again in my life time. I've never had a movie make me so angry that I had to sit through it, or that it even got made. There is no artistic justification for the movie whatsoever, and (art aside), the box office showed there wasn't much of a mainstream audience for this piece of crap either. | | Static Link |

| Posted by: Stubblecat at December 13, 2007, 1:51 pm | | Topic: WORST MOVIE OF 2007? Forum: Film Hobbit | | Hmm... Both Halloween and Hostel II made a huge profit (budget-to-gross-wise) and thoroughly satisfied a good chunk of their respective fanbases, so I wouldn't call either one the worst. I can completely agree with Spider-Man 3. Though the box office was good, the critical and audience reaction was that of someone who walked into someone else's fart on an elevator. It may be all about perspective. Spider-Man 2 created loads of goodwill and positive reviews.. #3 angered and disappointed millions of people. | | Static Link |
| Posted by: crappertay at December 13, 2007, 1:50 pm | | Topic: WORST MOVIE OF 2007? Forum: Film Hobbit | No no no, they are very specific about this. It is the WORST movie of the year. Worse than Ice Cube fighting a CGI deer.
Worse than Eli Roth cutting a guy's balls off.
Worse than Elisha Cuthbert eating pig entrails. It probably WAS the most disappointing after the perfectness that was 2. But as you say too. Not the same thing as being the worst. | | Static Link |
| Posted by: crappertay at December 13, 2007, 1:29 pm | | Topic: WORST MOVIE OF 2007? Forum: Film Hobbit | | For me the worst movie of 2007 was definitely Revolver. Never, even with David Lynch at his most navel-gazingly self-obsessed have I come across such a po-faced, self-involved, humourless, confusing, deluded, plagueristic over-stylised piece of crap. Halloween comes a close second but is disqualified on grounds that it's just another predictably crappy and redundant remake. | | Static Link |
| Posted by: crappertay at December 13, 2007, 1:24 pm | | Topic: WORST MOVIE OF 2007? Forum: Film Hobbit | | I made my once-fortnightly mistake of going over to the Hall of Campea Man Love today and noticed the Cool Canadian has posted his "Worst Movies of 2007" list. The winner? Ahead of no brainer actual contenders like Hostel II, Daddy Day Camp, The Condemned, Shrek 3, Bratz, Are We Done Yet and in a list not even featuring Revolver, Sarah Landon and the Paranormal Hour, The Game Plan, Halloween and El Lohan's magnum opus I Know Who Killed Me... the winner was of course... Spider-Man 3 Now, anyone with half a brain knows that bashing Spider-Man 3 so publicly is not because you genuinely think it's the worst movie of 2007. It really isn't. Not as good as Spider-Man 2 or even the original is not the same as the worst movie of the year. It's just an easy way to drum up some engineered "controversy"/publicity and thus is really just an exercise in whoring for hits. I now ask the intelligent people of the world, the Blenders; What was REALLY the worst movie of 2007? | | Static Link |
