If they stick close to the book and the animation direction is good...this could be truly a kick a** flick.

I haven't read any of the Dragonlance series. Is suppose its not essential that I do in order to view this film.

I read an interview on warcry with the authors that they worked very hard with the producers of the movie so that the story would be close to the book. Very good page turner indeed. I expect this to be as well. They have a good cast doing the voice overs.

DragonLance...... Is this that fantasy series that has like 50,000 books? By like 200 different writers? Yes I'm exaggerating, but it was huge. I never cared for it myself. It was too fantasy. IE every other person was some mystical being and they threw magic around like it was free. Never cared for it myself.
