Very nice of them to do it. None of them certainly NEED the money, and it's great that Matilda - and by extension Michelle - is being taken care of. | | Static Link |

Michelle Williams and her two-year-old daughter Matilda enjoy a summer day in NYC.INFDaily.com The late Heath Ledger's daughter Matilda was spotted skipping along the streets of NYC yesterday with her mom Michelle Williams in the cutest pink sundress. Every time I see a photo of the 2-year-old I can't believe how much she looks like her dad. He definitely lives on through her. As most of you probably know, Heath was filming Terry Gilliam's "The Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus" at the time of his death. Johnny Depp, Jude Law, and Colin Farrell stepped in to complete Heath's role, playing different versions of his character "Tim." When the three actors learned that Ledger's will had not been updated to include his daughter, the generous trio decided... | | Read Entire Entry |

Quote: Actress Mary-Kate Olsen will not speak to investigators about Heath Ledger's death unless she is granted immunity from prosecution. An official said the 22-year-old wants the assurance before speaking to the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA). Olsen was the first person contacted by the masseuse who discovered Ledger's body. Her lawyer said she has told the authorities all she knows. Ledger was found dead at his home in January after an accidental overdose. Federal investigators want to question Olsen about how Ledger obtained two powerful painkillers that contributed to his death. Olsen's lawyer, Michael C Miller, added that she "does not know the source of the drugs Mr Ledger consumed". According to the official - who spoke on condition of anonymity because the investigation is ongoing - Mr Miller has twice refused requests for her to speak with them. Investigators are in negotiations with Olsen's lawyers and the prosecutor's office, it was added. The official said that authoriti... | | Read Entire Entry |

And they stated that the Dr.'s that prescribed these medications were being investigated by the authorities right now. Because Dr. Drew said that these combinations of pills should have never been prescribed to anyone, so it seems like a situation of one Dr. didn't know what the other was doing. A truly sad set of circumstances. | | Static Link |

On rare occasions. What LadyShelley said was what everyone here has been saying. He obviously took some meds, went to sleep, woke up incoherent (as you do, or I do if I wake up in the afternoon), and forgot he took the first dose. It's a tragic accident and makes you wonder how often this kind of thing happens in actual life and you only hear about it when it happens to famous people. Only the good die young. | | Static Link |

| Posted by: LadyShelley at February 7, 2008, 12:17 am | | Topic: BREAKING NEWS: Heath Ledger Dead Forum: Film Hobbit | | This has been discussed on any forum I ply on as well. Something one of the posters there mentioned: One of the drug he was taking (don't remember which) can really make you loopy, to the extent the patient needs someone in control of the meds to keep this from happening. I think it was one of the sleep aides, anyway, according to the person in this group, his wife has to take it and he MUST watch her carefully because she can wake up and not remember she took the pill and take another one. I've wondered ever since his post to that group if this is the sad truth; Ledger didn't realize he already taken the meds, took more by accident and well ... | | Static Link |

| Posted by: Matt at February 6, 2008, 7:56 pm | | Topic: BREAKING NEWS: Heath Ledger Dead Forum: Film Hobbit | | No they were all prescription but they don't know if he got prescriptions to get them. They're probably curious if one doctor prescribed them all, which might be a crime, or if he went to a bunch of doctors. Or... if someone else, like a friend, gave some of them to him. | | Static Link |

What was the purpose of that post except to cause trouble with another poster? I'm locking this thread. I am not having this thread decend in to another round of this tit-for-tat juvenile bullshit that you were told to shitcan over a week ago. Heath Ledger died, it has been established it was a tragic accident and not something more sinister or as depressing as a deliberate overdose or illicit substances. | | Static Link |

| Posted by: Matt at February 6, 2008, 12:16 pm | | Topic: BREAKING NEWS: Heath Ledger Dead Forum: Film Hobbit | | It's been confirmed. It was an accidental overdose of a combination of prescriptions. Way too many different prescriptions. Sad story. Easily preventable but I'll definitely be more precautious of medications in the future. | | Static Link |

You know it's interesting what someone said (over on that other forum, Bono) that they didn't even know Heath Ledger played a gay cowboy until they read the rant from the Phelps mob. Personally I didn't even read the rant, could only bring myself to skim over it. He must have been living under a rock, maybe, but you can kind of see his point. I see there was a Hollywood service for Heath Ledger over night, people such as Sean Penn, Portia and Ellen De Generes, Naomi Watts and Lindsay Lohan attended. | | Static Link |
