My money's on No Country for Old Men at this point. I'll go with Atonement (which managed to get panned locally by both our daily paper and alt. weekly but it's English and literary so it gets in), Sweeney Todd, NCfOM, There Will Be Blood and probably Juno as the Best Picture noms. In the olden days, there'd be time for backlashes and backlashes against the backlashes but the Oscars come around too quickly ...

It wasn't nominated by the producer's guild, or the director's guild, or the writer's guild. It didn't receive a single Screen Actor's Guild award. It wasn't cited by any critic's groups.
