If people don't mind paying even more taxes , than we can have a uni health care system . How does 9 dollars a gallon for gasoline sound , or a 17 - 18 percent sales tax , or 9 dollars a gallon for heating oil . If people are okay with that , then go ahead and implement a " free " health care system for all , because it has to be paid for in some way or another , that free moniker is misleading . Also , do you really want the government dictating what doctors you can see . I know in England a primary care physician is assigned to each individual , you don't have a choice in the matter . Then that physician will refer you to specialists if needed , you also don't have a choice in that matter either . In essence , their is even less choice with regards to uni care . If people don't mind any of the above , then there should be no problem , i just don't think people realize it's not the panacea it seems to be . I agree , the healthcare system is out of control , but fed control of it may not be the ans...

I go thru this battle with my co-workers everyday. They love McCain. I am voting for Obama next month in Pennsylvania. I don't like Clinton. I hear this everyday," We are not ready for a black president" I say then," When are we going to be ready for one in 25,50 or 100 years?" But it's ok that people can accept a woman for president? This election is very interesting. I believe whoever is elected should worry about getting our troops home and let them worry about their own war. We are getting screwed. The first time we fought in Iraq we should have taked control of the oil and taken care of us in the USA. Instead of paying these high gas prices and home heating oil prices. Tax cuts: property taxes/school taxes Health care for everyone. Not for certain people. I am so tired of this issue. I have health care but I pay so much from my pay. The first thing they ask for when taken the the ER room you have insurance. Why? If I don't I have to wait? I say: Health care should be free.

I don't mind paying a fair share , but expanding gov control , and the seperation of the public from their money , by politicians , seems to be in vogue . They think the only solution is more rules , more taxes , more government control . It's just the opposite , let people keep more of their money , let them make more decisions on their own , even if they fail as result of their decisions , this hand holding fed and gov control is getting worse . These pinheads don't want an independent populace , they want you to be dependent on them for everything . Health care , personal decisions , what you think , how you feel . We have this sick notion that if the gov isn't involved , we aren't safe or healthy , we have ceased to rely on ourselves , and that's where a candidate such as Obama comes into play , he feeds off the weak populace's need for a savior , people who know better have no need for him and his promises .

If Republicans can come up with something against Obama other than this "experience" nonsense (he has more legislative experience than Hillary Clinton does) then he could very well be the next president. Then again, he will also be going up against the same masterminds behind the extremely racist Willie Horton ad and the equally unbelievable Swift Boat ad. As for this commercial, people shouldn't hold it against the candidate if some of his supporters are silly. I mean, I despise Common, but I wouldn't vote for or against Obama because he does.

Hey, all I know is I would rather a guy who has the right outlook on the country than a guy like McCain who is promising no change on the Iraq front and has no real plans for the economy...something that needs fixed ASAP. Would Barack follow through with his plans? My best guess would be, yes he would at least try. And with a largely Democratic Congress he sure wouldn't have a hard time getting his issues through legislature. As far as Universal Health Care, I don't see why anyone wouldn't want that. Sounds good to me. Affordable Health Care for everyone (and both Obama and Clinton want that), sounds awesome. Coming out of college, I'm gonna need it. And besides, it's based on policies that we vote. I agree with 90% of Barack's stances, as do millions of other voters. Whether he follows through or not, we can't look in a crystal ball and see. But based upon the democratic party's continual stance for the little guy, the American worker as opposed to big business, and the hopes of change in America in the rea...

I guess you're one of those "Hillary has 35 years of experience" types. Regardless of one's opinions about Barack Obama, Hillary's primary campaign has been absolutely disgusting. She's threatened to break pledges in order to seat Florida and Michigan delegates, which is absolutely unreasonable. Her campaign has plainly stated that even if they're short in delegates (and the popular vote), they'll try to steal the nomination by getting superdelegates to tip the balance. Her campaign aides have suggested Obama dealt drugs. Her campaign aides have ignored every Obama win because of nonsensical reasons. She's put out a sea of negative ads. She doesn't even congratulate Obama for his victories in speeches anymore. She refuses to disclose her financial records. She's sold donor list already. She is a disgusting, typical politician and has no interest in democracy and the will of the people, only in going down in history books as the first female president of the United States. Fuck Hillary Clinton.
