The Rocketeer, October Sky, and Jurassic Park III (except the ending) were great. I now have confidence that this movie will be at least solid. | | Static Link |

Is this good news? It's better than Ratner, but I'm still pretty bummed that Romanek left. My interest in this project has already hit rock bottom, it can only get better. I think Romanek would've done a better job, but I think Johnston is capable of making a good movie out of this. I think the movie will rely just as much on del Toro and the script. | | Static Link |

Anyways, the new news is that John Landis could be directing. That's bad news imo. The man hasn't made a good movie since I've been alive. I think he pretty much lost the ability to make a good movie after the Twilight Zone incident (exception for Coming to America). | | Static Link |

Ummm........you do realize that Del Toro is wearing no make-up at all and that is not a still from the movie because it hasn't even begun shooting yet, right? Y'know....just FYI. | | Static Link |

Sure, I love the vintage stuff, but I don't think I've seen a film about a werewolf that didn't have its fair share of flaws. And I love werewolves. When I was younger, they were my favorite monsters but I'm still kind of shocked that even films like Howling, An American Werewolf in London, even Wolfman aren't as good as I thought they could've been. I love the effects, but I just don' think it's hit a peak yet and this could possibly be it. And please don't come at me with Ginger Snaps or Dog Soldiers. I found them to be dull with weak effects. | | Static Link |

I take issue with remaking films that were made a decade prior, were excellent, and the remake hasn't attached any worthwhile talent or budget. This seems to be the opposite which I am happy to see. In fact I would love to see my favorite universal monster movie remade; The Creature from The Black Lagoon. | | Static Link |
