why wont there be a sequel??? the movie was just an introduction they were going to save her dad, it was a 3quel the original script and the entire series is already budgeted

yaa buddy its a great movie ...i like it.... The acting is quite good, especially from the young lead, and the animation makes one wonder what they can't do with computers these days... i have seen it online and download it ..you can also download it...

The Golden Compass is an Academy Award-nominated fantasy film based upon Northern Lights (also known as The Golden Compass), the first novel in Philip Pullman's trilogy His Dark Materials, and was released on December 5, 2007 by New Line Cinema. It is part of the His Dark Materials film series.
