BAD BAD BAD BAD MOVIE!!!! Kim Basinger was terrible, story is lame, special effects were laughable. The movie's only saving grace was of course Christina Ricci. But I must ask, WHY THE HELL DID THEY KILL HER RIGHT AWAY??? The director and crew must have known that this movie was gonna be a stinker, why couldn't they have just kept the only good and talented actor alive. Oh well. Stear clear of this piece of shite (2/10)

I saw this in a cheap theatre that plays movies a few months after they release. It was only $1.50, so I don't think I wasted my money. It had bad acting and CGI. I remember actually laughing at a few scenes(me and friends were the only ones in the theatre, so it wasn't rude or anything) like when that little girl was banging her head on the wall. It was so stupid. I give it a 5.5/10.

The ONLY part I liked in this film was the bridge scene, I knew it was fake cause that's the good'ol Blue Water Bridge in Sarnia, Ontario, Canada. But it was pretty cool they made it look like NYC. The rest of the film was pretty boring for my taste...

Come on now this isn't a bad movie, some people have their thumbs up their asses or something. Bless the Child was a good horror/thriller, it could of been better though. Bless the Child - 8/10

I really liked this supernatural thriller. I thought Kim Basinger did a decent job and I especailly thought Jimmy Smits did good work here. The story is a good one. And it was just an exciting and satisfying good vs. evil thriller. grade: B
rating: ***
7/10

Mike, I'm agree with the Christina Ricci rol in the movie.
I had to make an aclaration: I've have just found the first original thing in the movie: This is not the first film where Christina Ricci Character died? If I'm wrong please correct me.

I have to disagree with you guys. I know almost everyone didn't like this movie, besides a few of my friends and I, but I really don't think it was "that" bad. I had fun watching it and was interested the whole way through. Christina Ricci should've been in it more though... But for the most part I enjoyed it... Grade: 7/10

Schmoes, yesterday I saw "Bless the Child". Now, why you bastards didn't told be how bad it was? No seriously, I do know that was bad, but I just don't think that much. Now, the script is really poor, I didn't find a single (NOT A SINGLE ONE) original idea in all the movie. The cast performances were very bad. Kim Basinger made one of the worst "I'm dead" actings I've ever saw and Rufus Sewell scared me as much as Barney (NO!, i'm lying, Barney is far much scary). But the worst was that even bad terror movies (as Stigmata) usually got great visual effects. I guess the biggest achivement of the film was a car explotion half way down of a Bridge. Anyway, I rented 'Finding Forrester' and I will see it this weekend, until I wait the movie of the week (Please Joey, choose a good one, no matter the gender). Anyone wants to share opinions about this movie?
