Most of them are slated for a 2008 release and I think just a few are slated for a 2009 release. Hehe..just realized the thread was specifically for March 2008 releases. My bad... Darfur Now IMDb

Superhero Movie is probably gonna be the worst movie of the month. It looks like like another horrible movie from the writers of Scary Movie. | | Static Link |

| Posted by: Killersmith at February 28, 2008, 2:57 pm | | Topic: March '08: What movies will you go see? Forum: JoBlo | | In actuality, this is what I'll probably see: Doomsday sounds good (this is the first I've heard of it) Seeing Snow Angels. DEFINITELY seeing Run, Fat Boy, Run (just for Simon Pegg) 21 looks like it could be decent. Definitely seeing Stop-Loss The Bank Job 10,000 B.C. Shutter Synecdoche, NY, if it's near me. | | Static Link |

I know for sure that I wont see 10, 000 B.C. Everything else I'll try to get a chance to see. They look really good. | | Static Link |

Forum: JoBlo | | I don't know what to think of Run, Fat Boy, Run, it has the strangest combination of people involved with it but it could turn out to be good, I'm a big Simon Pegg fan. I'm gonna try watch some other David Gordan Green movies before Snow Angels, seeing as I havn't seen any of his films yet. Funny Games looks to be entertaining, I still don't get why he choose to remake his own movie for his US debute though. | | Static Link |
| Posted by: Dr Venkman at February 28, 2008, 1:12 am | | Topic: March '08: What movies will you go see? Forum: JoBlo | | I wanna check out STOP-LOSS. Ryan Phillipe is some what under-rated as an actor and Channing Tatum is proving to be the next big superstar. Plus I really liked what I saw from the trailer. If you haven't seen it yet, you can check it out here: http://www.stoplossmovie.com Bank Job will be another Statham bomb (In the name of the King anyone?) I'm a little too old for Horton Hears a Who Funny Games looks genuinely God-awful. 10,000 BC is a maybe for me. I'm on the fence about Drillbit Taylor | | Static Link |

Forum: JoBlo | | Stop Loss This is my second most anticipated movie of 2008, I can't wait for this to come out. Drillbit Taylor and Run Fatboy Run These both looks pretty funny, Like the trailers for Drillbit Taylor, and Simon Pegg is always funny so this should be good. Never Back Down Unlike Many I actually want to see this and think it looks pretty good. Funny Games I've Never seen the original but this looks incredible and very suspensful. Some other ones that look alright are Snow Angels, The Bank Job, 21, Doomday, and Horton Hears a who. Oh and Semi Pro is a March movie and that looks hilarious and looks like Will Ferrel at his best once again. *EDIT* my bad Semi Pro is February 29th so that is not a March movie. | | Static Link |
| Posted by: JohnLocke2342 at February 27, 2008, 4:44 pm | | Topic: March '08: What movies will you go see? Forum: JoBlo | | The only movies I'll actually see in March are Snow Angels Funny Games Run, Fatboy, Run and maybe.. just for the trailers, 10,000 BC the rest are pure shit. Tyler Perry's why am I still making movies, part: 5 Horton Hears a who The Bank Job ... ru kidding me? Can Jason Statham make any more shitty movies in which he plays the same character? | | Static Link |
| Posted by: ilovemovies at February 27, 2008, 4:18 pm | | Topic: March '08: What movies will you go see? Forum: JoBlo | | I plan on checking out EVERYTHING. But here are the movies I'm looking forward to most: 1. Doomsday - it looks like such a kickass action packed ride! Can't wait. 2. Snow Angels 3. 21 4. Stop-Loss 5. Sleepwalking 6. Miss Pettigrew Lives for a Day 7. The Bank Job 8. 10,000 B.C. 9. Tyler Perry's Meet the Browns - will probably be the first Tyler Perry flick I'll actually go see since it's the first one that actually looks pretty good 10. Collage Road Trip/Drillbit Taylor - both are rather tied because they both look kind of amusing but they could also end up being rather crappy but I'm an optomist and think they look alright. Not sure about: Paranoid Park Run, Fat boy, Run Flawless - love Caine and Moore but it looks so-so to me Funny Games - Could be fantastic or it could exploitive crap Looks crappy: Horton Hears a Who Never Back Down Superhero Movie - doesn't look as bad as Meet the Spartans but still looks pretty crappy Shutter - I'm a fan of Joshua Jackson but this looks like shit, sadly. | | Static Link |
| Posted by: joeyatog at February 27, 2008, 2:01 pm | | Topic: March '08: What movies will you go see? Forum: JoBlo | | March is kinda a dull month for Hollywood typically. There are a few new releases that look ok. Here's what I'm interested in: The Bank Job - I love a good heist film. Jason Statham and Saffron Burrows are cool. This should be fun. (March 7) DOOMSDAY - Neill Marshall is 2 for 2 in my book (Dog Soldiers, The Descent). This looks like Mad Max meets 28 Days Later. I am intrigued. (March 14) Drillbit Taylor - I like Owen Wilson. He can be pretty funny with the right material. I'm not expecting an award-winning film here, but something to make me laugh for 90 minutes would be nice! (March 21) The rest of the month isn't too exciting for me...these flicks I will catch on DVD: 10,000 B.C. - I don't really know what to think about this one. I am curious but not enough to throw my $$$ away. Horton Hears a Who - Eh! Funny Games - Looks intriguing...messed up people can usually be entertaining to watch. 21 - Gambling nerds + Kevin Spacey might be fun. Run, Fat Boy, Run - I love Simon Pegg but I'm not really too sure wh... | | Read Entire Entry |
