It's my understanding that a cut of the film was produced with those 70 extra minutes but it was an intentional working cut that was going to get cut down all along. I've heard that an extra 25 minutes was the cut Norton really wanted. In an interview with SOS Hollywood, Leterrier revealed the exact place where the cameo will take place. "There's a point when Bruce Banner gives up on his quest for the cure and decides to kill himself," said Leterrier. "So he travels far North and reaches the Arctic Circle. I just came back from the pre-screening...WOW, what a movie!!! If you thought you had reason to hate the Ang Lee version...watch this and you'll wonder why Marvel ever considered Ang Lee for one of their babies! Ang Lee's Hulk feels like a completely different movie. They did the CG correctly in the one. This is how Hulk should have been done the first go around!! The opening credits unmistakably establish that Ang Lee's version never existed. The director said the TV show influenced him...I felt like I was watching the movie version of the TV show!! This is not a bad thing!! Thats what made me enjoy this movie even more. Also instead of waiting an hour to see the hulk, in this movie 20 minutes, tops. Ok enough.
