Shocked! That's all i can say. I rented this movie expecting...well expecting nothing. I was bored and needed a comedy to lighten my night. Boy did i choose a comedy.
Reese Witherspoon was likeable, the whole plot was indeed not that bad at all. Script-writing was quite funny and not dumb which is great.
This movie surprised the hell out of me. I didn't enjoy the movie immensley, but i like it so much more than i could have ever imagined. With humourus jokes about the whole Malibu look etc. it was a good light hearted comedy with your throw in of romance. Nicely done.
Not a bad movie at all, you can see how it was a surprise hit in America. 6.5/10

What horrid fucking shit. I can't believe this is the only negative review thus far. Shame on you people giving this film 8. Vile. This is Hollywood at it's most mind numbingly stupid, nothing to offer but popcorn giggles (which should turn into horrid chokes) and poor writing. I should be punished for sitting through this horrid, horrid piece of capitilism. Pink is the new colour of my vomit. 1.

I had no intensions to see this film, either, but I went to my local theater when there was a movie night. And Legally Blonde was the opening film. I think Reese Whitherspoon did a splendid job. I've never seen a good film about blondes. Now I have seen one. I think I should give this film 8/10. It deserves it.

Legally Blonde - 8/10. Yes, that's right! Sorry folks, but I am going to a moment to piss a lot of people off, especially guys, since I loved this movie! I just think that Reese Witherspoon ... oh my God... =) Anyways, on the actual STORY, etc., of the movie. Reese plays the role of Elle Woods, a beautiful, blonde, fashion chick who goes to law school in Harvard for the sake of impressing her ex-boyfriend who has just dumped her because he doesn't think she's smart enough.. Once she gets there, she finds out that he has already found someone else, who by the way is her new worst enemy in college. So she's stuck in Harvard struggling to make the grades & win him back. She earns the honor of representing a client in a REAL LIFE trial, and ... okay, I don't need to give away the entire story. But you get the idea. It's a cute movie with a good story and Reese Witherspoon. And has a great ending. Sooo... 8/10. Is that asking too much??

Legally Blonde was not a great Oscar-caliber movie by any means, it was just purely for entertainment. And on that level, it did very well. I enjoyed this movie very much, it wasn't like your average shitty chick flick. The supporting actors did fine in their roles, but the best part had to be Reese Witherspoon's awesome performance as sorority girl-turned-Harvard Law student. She is a great actress and hopefully we can expect more great things out of her in the future. Her chihuahua was cute as hell too. The movie had plenty of laughs, including the final courtroom scene and the "costume party" scene. This film has been compared to Clueless about 10 million times, and I'd say it's right on par with that. Overall, it's a fun, entertaining, cute, and light-minded comedy which I definitely would recommend. 7/10

Legally Blond
6/10 This was such a fun happy movie, very straight forward, and simple. This movie makes you feel good throughout the whole thing. You really want Elle to do good and succeed. This is one of the few movies that I actually was hoping for a happy ending, although it would have been a nice twist. Luke Wilson is great in this movie and he is establishing himself as quite a good leading man for romantic comedies. Another cool thing about the movie is that it has kind of a little moral, that you can't judge a book buy it's cover, sorority girls aren't all dumb, every once in a while a smart one sneaks through. Reese Witherspoon can litigate me any day.

Legally Blonde is simply a fun movie. It's a "little" movie with a "big" performance. Reese Witherspoon owned this film. As Elle Woods she shone as the ditzy yet resourceful girl who enters Harvard Law to get back the boyfriend who dumped her. The screenplay is a no brainer but Reese's performance makes the movie. Jennifer Coolidge, who played Stifler's Mom in American Pie was also great as the insecure Hairdresser whom Elle be-friends. Legally Blonde may be easy on the brain but it's a delightful comedy with great performances by Coolidge and Witherspoon. 8/10

Legally Blonde - 8/10 From the ads and trailers, Legally Blonde to me just looked like a bit of fun with a feast of blondes. I was obviously mistaken. Don’t get me wrong, the blondes are babes and this movie is a lot of fun, but I thought the movie itself had more depth than busty blondes. The movie actually has a lot to do with fitting in, dramatic times and being the best person you can be. This may all sound corny, but rarely is, and the comedy element is the most important one in the movie, so don’t go in expecting a big drama-fest because the comedy kicks hard ass and is the best element in the film. Reese Witherspoon’s performance was awesome. She is seriously hot, smart and believable in this cool role as the blonde law student. Many are considering her Oscar material, and I couldn’t agree more! Every scene Reese is in is an enjoyable one, and she gives the movie more charisma than anyone else. I also have to applaud the writers for coming up with a truly original idea for a script that brings up tonn...

Legally Blonde is one of this last summers sleeper hits which so far has grossed over 95 Million at the U.S. Box Office, well over it's 18 Million budget. I saw Legally Blonde in the theater twice and I loved it. The movie is so cheerful and happy and cute that it's almost impossible not to enjoy it. The movie itself is actually pretty simple, but what puts it over the top is Reese Witherspoons brilliant performance as Elle Woods. Reese Witherspoon is one of Hollywoods best actresses and it shows with each role she's in. She blew me away as Tracy Flick in Election and does it again here. She deserves some awards already!!! Reese carries the whole movie on her shoulders and does it perfectly, she didn't lose my attention once. This so far is the best feel good movie of the year, it will make you want to stand up and cheer. I had a smile on my face the whole way through and enjoyed every minute of it. Legally Blonde isn't some dumb blonde movie, I dare all of the people that don't want to see it to give it a s...

Legally Blonde 2001
Directed By: Robert Luketic Staring: Reese Witherspoon, Luke Wilson, and Selma Blair I had no intentions to see this film when I first saw the trailer. I thought the trailer was terrible, and when the critics reviews came in, and they were mostly positive I couldn't believe it. While at Hollywood Video, I saw this film, and I couldn't resist. I had to see why everyone loved it. I slipped the DVD in, and hesitantly sat down, and watched. Did I like it? Yes. Did I love it? Not exactly. It was a fun, entertaining, and cute film. Very predictable it was, but it did provide me with some laughs, and some solid entertainment. Reese Witherspoon is this movie. Without her, this film would have been nothing. Her performance here is great, and funny, and her character is a riot! But personally, I think it was Jennifer Coolidge who steals the show. She was hysterical in Best in Show and she's hysterical in Legally Blonde! She made me laugh in literally every scene she was in (The bend and snap sc...
