I admit, this was a decent flick. But to childish, to cliched, and to far-fetched in some parts. The FX were awesome. And...this was based on the Twilight Zone episode when the guy got the stopwatch that stopped time wasn't it. I mean, you're a teenager, you stop time, you're not gonna waste your time runnin around putting mid-piss dogs in policewomens vehicles...cummon. 6.5/10

Arguing about a film like Clockstoppers is rather dumb don't you think? Mike will see it if he wants to and that's that. While others are plugging their site I might as well plug mine www.currentlyplaying.com where I actually EXPLAIN why I like or dislike movies. My review of Clockstoppers can be found there along with many others. In fact, I'll just post my thoughts below: Clockstoppers: A teenager (Jesse Bradford) steals a special a watch from his scientist father that stops time except for the wearer who's able to move at normal speed. He then, along with his girlfriend (Paula Garces) has to avoid various evil people who want the watch back. The power to stop time would be something that I think most everyone would like to do one time or another in their life. If one had this power they could figure their way out of a terrible situation that they find themselves in, or savor memorable moments for as long as possible. I mean, wouldn't you want to stay in a time of your life that you found to be the best ti...

I did not make fun of your movie taste, you sort of made fun of mine: remember, "Am I the only one that doesn't like old shit?", which is the kind of films that I love. Yes, 1/2 of my 2nd post was a little uncalled for, but you are in the minority... most people hated this film, along with All About The Benjamins, and Return to Neverland. Peace!

"B-ball Dude", he wasn't "making fun" of the movies you like. If he had been, he would've said something like, "those movies REALLY suck." He never stated anything like that as far as directly speaking to you. His second post however, was a bit condescending, and I apologize for not detecting that in the first place. However, you should still not resort to name calling, its unconstructive and is not wanted on the boards. "FilmFreak87", in regards to your second comment, it was a bit uncalled for, and somewhat condescending, denoucing B-Ball Dude's opinion of Clockstoppers, without backing it up. Your statement against him wasn't very constructive either. I think you too should take a look at the rules, before denoucing someone's opinion in 1 sentence. Plus, fighting over who's going to get Mike to see Clockstoppers or not, seems quite ridiculous in the first place, doesn't it? You both have a right to your own opinions. However, nothing but fighting is going to occur i...

If you have a problem with "FilmFreak87"'s opinion, back up your own opinion, instead of calling him a "rat". Clockstoppers (2002) Rated: PG Running Time: 1 hour 30 minutes I do not think that a movie could be worse. Not only was I seeking the end of the film in the first 15 minutes, but the cast is terrible! I don't think that they could have picked a worse cast! Not one single character is likable, enjoyable, or the least bit well developed. The script/story is pathetic, and dares the viewer to keep his/her eyes open! I was not expecting too much, but common! This could have been much, much, better. I have seen some really bad movies lately: xXx (3/10), Freddy Got Fingered 0/10, Slackers 4/10) and now Clock Stoppers which is one of the worst films of 2002, and will not be forgotten at the end of the year when my bottom top 10 is furnished! The Grade(s) 2/10 (2 pts, so great special fx) For those of you who use letters: D-
For those of you who use 4 stars: .5/4
For those of you who use 5 stars: 1/5
