Forum: JoBlo | | Still My #1: Iron Man Still The Worst: Meet The Spartans Anyone that has the chance needs to see Bottle Shock. I'm betting it makes a lot of people's top ten list if they bother to give it a chance. Slow paced film that stumbles to start but really delivers the goods. Similar to Sideways in terms of tone and content but I feel Bottle Shock is actually the better film. | | Static Link |

I haven't seen some films getting good buzz like Bigger, Stronger, Faster, The Visitor, Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Wanted & Desired, My Winnipeg and Standard Operating Procedure. I haven't seen most of the critically hated films like The Happening, Jumper, In the Name of the King, Prom Night, etc. Best of 08 so far 1. The Dark Knight 2. Shotgun Stories 3. Wall-E 5. Chop Shop 6. The Fall 7. Snow Angels 8. In Bruges 9. Paranoid Park 10. Indiana Jones & The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull Worst of 08 so far 1. Wanted 2. The Grand.. actually i'd just call it 'meh'. Not actually bad but pretty dissapointing concidering the talent involved ... havent seen many other bad films. But it hasn't been wall to wall packed with excellent pictures like 07. Forum: JoBlo | | I don't even think there are 10 movies that have come out this year that are worth writing home about, just yet anyway... Well, my top three are: 1) The Bank Job 2) In Burges and 3) Cloverfield Horton Hears a Who wasn't as good as I had hoped. The new Shine a Light spells out A-W-E-S-O-M-E using the words "Rolling Stones" and "Martin Scorsese", but I haven't see n it yet. Everything else has been pretty damn terrible. Jumper, The Eye, 10,000 B.C., Drillbit Taylor, The Ruins, and even Be Kind, Rewind which I expected to be good, all range from very disappointing to extreme suckage.
