EDSOULSURIVE*'S 10 FAVORITE 2007 FILMS 10. 28 Weeks Later - 7.5/10 9. 1408 - 7.5/10 8. Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix - 8/10 7. The Kingdom - 8/10 6. The Bourne Ultimatum - 8/10 5. Superbad - 8/10 4. No Country for Old Men - 8/10 3. Grindhouse - 8/10 2. Hot Fuzz - 8/10 1. Black Snake Moan - 9/10[/b] Likely to join the Final Top Ten: The Darjeeling Limited, Control The two have not been added because I need to see Darjeeling again before being settling on how much I enjoyed it, and I saw Control a few hours ago. It was definitely a memorable film, but I think it's too early for me to judge how it stands next to the other ten movies above.

I don't usually go see movies I think are gonna be "bad," so let's see how I do at that end. BEST to WORST (not really, but I don't really have truly horrible movies on this list. Not to sound pompous, I just wait for a sign most times.) Assassination of Jesse James/No Country for Old Men (tie) Michael Clayton Grindhouse (theatrical package) Knocked Up Eastern Promises Black Snake Moan Sicko Hot Fuzz The Simpsons Movie I'm Not There Shoot 'Em Up Bourne Ultimatum 30 Days of Night Zodiac Ratatouille Paris je' taime 300 The Kingdom Spider-Man 3 Smokin' Aces Transformers 3:10 to Yuma I think this might be it. Some of those movies at the bottom I found to be really good, but overall I wasn't the target audience. And for the record I loved "Smokin' Aces" in pieces, I just didn't love the way it was ultimately put together.

Oh I can comprehend the point. Maybe if it wasn't presented in such a ridiculous and slipshod manner it would've been more effective. This film is in fact so stupid and pandering it might've been better. It hasn't a brain in its head. The Coens brothers injected more meaning into the end credits of the Ladykillers then the Ultimate Gift even manages. And snuff film? I'm sorry it wasn't dumbed down to the intelligence of a ball of dust and packed with enough slobbery sentimentality to make Stanley Kramer turn up his nose.
