Until Ecks Vs. Sever came out, I thought this was possibly as lowas a movie could go. This year proved me wrong.

"GREAT" acting??? TOMBRAIDER??? If Tombraider has great acting, then The Scor-PEON King (get it?) is the Citizen Kane of acting!

I thought it was an alright movie. It could have had a little more action and could have movie a bit faster but it was pretty good. It had great acting and some suspensful fun scenes. 7/10

LARA CROFT: TOMB RAIDER (2001) This was one of the worst movies of 2001. Not even Angelina Jolie could save this stinker. I heard it was bad and boring but I didn't think it could be "that" bad so I didn't listen and I went to see it. I figured any movie with Angelina Jolie, tight clothes, and a gun couldn't be that bad. Man was I wrong. I was so damn bored during this movie and I felt like going to sleep, but I didn't because I kept thinking "it's gotta get better." I was wrong again. I'll admit it had a couple of cool action scenes, but that's about it. I hate to say that I didn't like it but I really didn't. It's hard to believe Roger Ebert gave it a Thumbs Up. What a disappointment!!! I was thinking it would be a lot of fun, but I was soooooo wrong. If you're looking for a fun action movie, this isn't it, but if you want something to put you to sleep, Tomb Raider is your movie. This was the worst movie I saw during Summer 2001 and one of the worst of the year. Grade: 4/10 or D+ or ** ...

Lara Croft: Tomb Raider. Starring: Angelina Jolie. Review: A kick-as summer action flick with radical visuals, cool action scsnes and sexy Jolie. While the story might not've been totally wicked, the rest of the movie was. Sure, countless schmoes have bashed this movie, but it really is a fun action flick. While not as wicked as the other big summer action, sci-fi flick, Planet of the Apes (8/10), it was stilla rock'n'rolln' good time at the theatres, and on DVD in my opinion. I personally think Lara Croft: Tomb Raider was one of the better action flicks of the past few summers. Rating: 8/10

HATED this cack. Crappy sfx, crappy story.... her MAIN goal is to meet up with her father again right? But yet she chooses to save the life of an on again, off again love interest?... over her FATHER?.... who she WANTED BACK? STUPID MOVIE. Jolie was okay in the part, but this movie blew Monkey Chunks. 3/10.

This movie was fun, I'll admit. And Angelina if fucking hot! I'll admit that as well. The movie was good, somewhat. A bit cheesy at parts. And the plot and screenplay aren't much, but still, and overall, a fun ride. And you're right: the best part is Angelina. 6.5/10

Yeah, you read that right...I don't think this movie sucked. Far from it, in fact. Okay, first the good: Angelina Jolie, obviously. Let's face it; she OWNS Lara Croft. She plays the role with class and finesse, and while it's hardly award-worthy, it's still the same Angelina talent that I've fallen in love with...and people, it's more than just her physicality...even though there's more than enough of it to go around in this movie. Shower scene...grrrrrowl!! Jolie proves herself further by putting herself into the action scenes instead of a stunt double. And the action scenes themselves, while totally unbelieveable, are still intense and blood-pumping, especially the opening training bout with the S.I.M.O.N robot. The other acting in the film is more than adequate; Noah Taylor (Bryce) and Julian Rhind-Tutt (Pimms) play the comic relief well. Iain Glen (Powell) plays a great villian, dare I say it, even Bond-worthy. I wouldn't be at all surprised if we saw him duking it out with Pierce Brosnan one day. Daniel...
