This one is truely laughable, but it reaches a sort of serene awfulness, placing it on par with films like Plan 9 From Outer Space. Bad movie junkies, like myself, will enjoy this one. Cunningham ("Friday the 13th") Written by: Lewis Abernathy and Geof Miller ("Lovers Lane") Starring: Nancy Everhard, Greg Evigan, Matt McCoy, and Miguel Ferrer Plot: Deep sea military installation is charged with setting up nuclear missle launch platforms. During construction they disturb a mysterious and deadly creature and death and destruction ensue... Review: Crap film made to try and hitch a ride off "The Abyss" fanfare. Poor storyline, poor special effects, and generally just a boring mess. Boring is the best description for this film. Usually I laud films that hide their monsters/villians until the end. This film, however, simply spends about 80 minutes showing vehicles crashing or being mysteriously hit while people crouch over some awful sonar screen.
