Very clever and witty. An original, classic romantic comedy. And it is my #1 of 2002. It replaced The Rules Of Attraction, since that one sadly gets worse with each viewing , while Jessica Stein gets better . | | Static Link |

The more I watch this baby, the more I LOVE it. The writing is smart and witty, the acting is perfect (especially by the wonderful Jennifer Westfeldt), the soundtrack is great, and in a world full of generic romantic comedies, it actually manages to be original. I absolutely love this film, and it will only get better in time. Along with When Harry Met Sally, this is hands down the best romantic comedy of all time. I would really like to see real life friends Jennifer Westfeldt and Heather Juergensen team up again to write another movie. I certainly hope this isn't the last we see of their talent. Man, I just frickin' LOVE this movie!!! I might even end up replacing The Rules Of Attraction with this movie, as my #1 film of 2002. Kissing Jessica Stein has managed to hold up extremely well with each viewing, The Rules Of Attraction on the other hand, hasn't held up quite as well.
