Really overrated flick. I felt like it was raping my favorite horror film(Texas Chainsaw Massacre) through the whole running time and the charcthers were so damn annoying at times. And the gore wasn't as heavy as most of you schmoes said it was. I wanted more gruesome goodies than what i got!!! But i have to admit the mountain men were really creepy and cool and when it wasn't raping the flick was pretty fun. Ill be nice and give it a 6/10

i give the movie a 10/10. even if you dont like the movie, give it some points for the ultra-sexy eliza dushku. the movie was good though, could have had a little or a lot more gore, but it was still great.

A really fun popcorn flick, I agree with what the others said about how critics arent going to rave about it, it wont win any awards, but it's just a fun flick to watch. Wrong Turn - 7/10

It's kinda the opposite with me, sad man. The more I think about the movie the more I like it. Though maybe I'm just thinking about Eliza Dushku and her tank top . Damnt, Mike's gone. I was curious to know what he would think of this movie, because I remember discussing it with him at one point. I remember him saying an 8/10 or B+ is that right? Hmmm...

It's just so predictable and ordinary and a bit slow too, that I can't help it. The beginning is so cheesy and bad also. The rest of the movie is interesting, with some cool deaths and I really like the mountain men, but there's nothing here that made me think "This is so awesome". So I guess I'll leave my rating as a 7/10 or B-.

WRONG TURN (2003) **SPOILERS** THE GOOD: --I for one thought this movie was pretty darn scary. After the boring first 15-20 minutes or so, the movie really gets into gear when Chris, Jessie, Carly and Scott enter the cannibals cabin. That was a horrifying and absolutely intense sequence in which I was gripping the couch the whole way through. From there on out, the scares just keep on coming. There's a freaky diversion in the cannibals' car yard (where we see how much damage the bastards have done), a suspenseful chase leading from the top of a watchtower to the treetops and finally the big showdown back at the cabin. The scares are all well built up and had me jumping and biting my fingers (no, I'm not a cannibal) in anticipation. The cinematography was awesome; it constantly gave me this feeling that someone or something was watching the characters. There is some good gore scenes in the film (though not enough), the first kill is especially gruesome (though a bit quick) and I loved the arrow-through-the-ey...

Wrong Turn, is about a young man in his late twenties named Chris Finn, who is on a way to a meeting. The highway is backed up with cars and trucks so he takes another road and goes through the woods. He then accidentally crashes into the van of some other young adults who had planned to camp out in the woods for the weekend but their tires blew because someone had planted barbed wire on the road. Chris, goes with a girl named Jessie Burlingame, and a girl named Carly, and her boyfriend Scott, to go walk to a phone for help while two of them in the van stay at the van. While in the woods Chris, and the others notice a cabin and as they walk into it they find severed body parts of humans and pieces of them in pots, on plates and in the fridge. They soon find out they are being hunted by a bunch of inbred cannibals who live in the woods and who will stop at nothing to kill them all. That's basically all I can say about the plot without ruining the movie. The film's company Twentieth Century Fox, has also tried...

Overrated when I look at all the praise this movie has received. It's a decent horrorfilm that manages to be entertaining, somewhat suspenseful and containing one original concept (characters messing around in high trees) but there's was nothing remotely great about it. Both the acting and the dialogue were really weak and I don't think I'll even remember it by the end of the year. 6/10

Wrong Turn is an entertaining but unscary "horror" film. Sure there was some gore but darn it I wanted to be freaked out, jumping off of my couch. But no, I didn't jump once. However I do recommend Wrong Turn. The film follows the typical horror movie rules, but I didn't mind. I really dug the creature effects of the inbred cannibals. I LOVED the fact that the film was 99% set in the woods. My favorite scene was by far the one that involved jumping into the trees from atop a lookout tower. We don't really get to know the characters at all, but I for once was fine with it because for some reason I did care for them......the thought of crazy ass backwoods inbreds is scary enough....so I felt for them. Eliza Dushku looked hot in her tank top and I really enjoyed the ending. Wrong Turn is a fun little ride that had potential to do more, but I was ultimately content with what it gave me. Good for an afternoon rental. B-

just rented this last night with so-so expectations and after watching it, thats what i got, a good movie. This movie dosnt break any barriers of the horror genre other than some hot stars, tension, gore, some very ugly mountain freaks, and a low budget. I was pretty much entertained the whole way through but wasnt blown away by any of it. The cinematography was sweet though! Rob Schmidt did a great job and also did a good job to make an entertaining movie that looked like it didnt have a budget over 1million bucks. overall, funstuff 7/10

Wrong Turn - 2/10 What the fuck has this world come to? Can't any horror makers come up with an original concept for once? This movie is just a repackeged Scream set in the woods. Kids die. Wow. Didn't see that coming. The movie's absolutely horrible characters and the most idiotic villians I've seen in my life work so horribly with each other its hilarious. I mean, c'mon the mountain men are like a creating George Lucas would have in Star Wars. It's mind numbingly hilarious even to think such a thing would exist. The performances are dreadful as any horror movie is like this. Elisa Dushku plays a one note character who has no or little devolpment. I don't think I even caught her name. The supporting roles are laughable because there is only about 6 characters. Now, the excitement was extremley dull. The "exciting" scenes were far from it. There are scenes where you just want to scream in embaressment for the studio. Overall, this is one of the worst of the year.

Wrong Turn - 8/10 Wrong Turn is fast-paced, scary and full of gore. Is it a movie your grandma would like? Probably not. Is it something horror fans should lap up? Oh yeah! Desmond Harrington gives a solid performance as medical student Chris. He's likeable and believable and I was rooting for him the whole time. Hottie Eliza Dushku gives a decent enough performance althoug her character is rather underdeveloped. The rest of the cast including Jeremy Sisto do good jobs playing their respective roles although no one is great, it's pretty well-acted for a horror movie. Clearly a fan of the genre, director Rob Schmidt knows for a movie like this too work you need three things; Blood, guts and suspense...so he delivers all three in spades. Gorehounds will love what this baby has too offer. We get too see axes, barbed wire, shotguns and arrows used to there fullest bloody potential. Although the movie's style is kept rather simple most of the time, Schmidt throws in some lovely David Fincher-esque shots once in a...

..."The best movie of the year"... WRONG TURN - 9/10 (A) I finally got to see this movie. You all know how excited I was about this. Since the first reviews for the movie went on line I've been wanting to see it. Then, with all the rave from the schmoes I was dying, it was a torture to see that everybody else saw the movie. The only solution was to wait until the DVD and blind buy it. Well, that's what I did...And I don't regret it at all. I was lucky enough to get my copy a week earlier than the rest of the schmoes who also bought it. So I even got more excited for the movie and I was afraid to be dissapointed. I was expecting too much from it. But to my surprise, the movie turned out to be way more better than I expected. Lucky me. I love horror movies. Horror it's and always was my favorite genre. This year was a real treat for horror fans like I. First was Final Destination 2, a gore feast. Then we got the brilliant mind fuck Identity. But that wasn't all, 28 Days Later arrived with a clever zo...
