It's kind of like those old screwball comedies of the 1930's and 1940's minus the intelligence factor. The storyline involves Affleck trying to get to his wedding in Savannah from New York. On the plane he meets free spirit Sandra Bullock whose also trying to get to Savannah. Fate throws them together as every method of transportation they attempt ends in disaster and as the hours tick away they become more and more attracted to each other. It's mostly mindless fluff that's a riot to watch if you are in the mood for it. But, the ending attempts to be serious which is the entire opposite of the entire film and throws you off entirely. And what a letdown when after all that Affleck dumps Bullock! | | Static Link |

It would have been better if it just stuck with the comedy. Some parts were really funny but then brought down by the romance. Ben Affleck was good and so was Sandra Bullock but she got annoying. They worked well together but i just didn't beleive alot of the things that happened to them. Like all the transportation problams they had. I give it a 6\10 | | Static Link |

I loved the chemistry between Ben Affleck and Sandra Bullock and they both gave excellent performances. The direction and the whole look to the film were also very impressive. What I disliked about the film was how cliched the story actually was....it was like every other romantic comedy for the first 3/4's and that bugged me. The ending on the other hand was a shocker and a relief for me.

* I really like the fact that Ben and Sandra actually didn't get together in the end.....I was pleased at how realistic the ending was and how different it was. However, the somewhat original ending cannot make up from a cliched beginning and middle.
