the main problem with Angel Eyes is that its very forgetable, i saw this a couple of days ago and cant remember exactly what it was about. The acting was pretty good with the cast giving good performances and what i can remember was also good, it was a little slow in places but more interesting than i expected 7/10

PAY IT FORWARD told the story of a boy who decided to make a difference in the world by beginning a "pay it forward" movement. He does a favor for three different people, but instead of asking them to pay it back, the catch is that they must pay it forward, or, in other words, do favors for three other people. One of the main characters in ANGEL EYES is a man who calls himself "Catch." Played by the intensely sad-eyed Jim Caviezel, Catch wanders around the streets of Chicago doing little favors for other people, like shutting off their car headlights, reminding them their keys are in their doors, or tackling a gunman who was this close to blowing a person's head away. But it's this last encounter that re-connects Catch with a woman from his past, someone he remembers but also someone who hasn't the faintest idea of who he is. ANGEL EYES promotes a supernatural romance in its ads, but it delivers a drama that mulls over how weird fate can be sometimes. The spark between the main characters...

For me "Angel Eyes" worked because of the sensitive and sympathic performances of the two main stars, Jennifer Lopez and Jim Caviezel. I liked the idea that Jennifer was a "tough cop" in the sense that she sat around with the male cops after work and talked tough like the guys. And she came from a tough-rough background and was the black sheep of the family for doing the right thing and turning in her father for beating her mother. Because of her family problems she was a loner and when the Jim Caviezel character appears on the scene all her loneliness and sensitivity to pain and problems sees that the Jim Caviezel character is the most lost soul on the planet. I felt so much sympathy for this character, because of the death of his wife and son he basically lost his memory and life, but seeing Lopez starts to bring him back to life. They are just two wounded souls, and Lopez was able to help Caviezel remember the accident that killed his wife and son, and Caviezel was able to help Lopez s...

Angel Eyes 4/10... Angel Eyes is a horrible thriller/romance that should have stayed a thriller. It had a lot of potential with Jennifer Lopez who I have liked in the past(The Cell, Out of Sight) and Jim Caviesel who was very good in Frequency. What starts out a s a cool premise and an interesting thriller turns into a sappy and unbelievable romance story. They both seemed out of place and there was no chemistry. Most of the second part of the film is them arguing with each other, and J.Lo's character having issues with her family. It was just boring unentertaining and by that time I lost interest. One of the worst I've seen this year.
