After the screening which was quite good by the way, I managed to have a brief conversation with FANGORIA editor Tony Timpone at the theatre, where we talked about horror films in general. especially the new ones being released including QUARENTINE. Our conversation steered toward REC and it's American release, QUARENTINE and I asked Mr.Timpone, who because of his job as FANGO editor has an inside conection with the studios, what was the reason why Sony/Columbia doesn't want to release REC in US theatres.
