| Posted by: Monotreme at February 18, 2008, 4:32 am | | Topic: The youtube Movie Thread Forum: JoBlo | | Alright, I don't know if this has already been posted or not, and I don't know if anybody else knows this guy or not, but over the past couple of years there has been this guy called Brandon Hardesty who has been posting, on YouTube, various comedic sketches, although his signature work is a series of re-enactments he does of various scenes in various movies. They start out rather okay but as he does more and more he gets even better and better at doing incredible, spot-on impressions. Up until now he's only been on YouTube but just this week (and next week too) he has these short guest appearences on Jimmy Kimmel Live, in which he does re-enactments of short scenes from this year's Best Picture Nominees. But since they're going through the catalog, and nobody really owns the rights to any of those Godzilla movies (up until Godzilla vs. Biollante, which even though they won't re-release it, Warner/HBO hold a death grip on the rights and Sony owns the rest on, but they need to release better versions of most of them) I have a strong feeling we'll be getting it sometime in the future. | | Static Link |
