If u didnt pay attention while watching pulp fiction then u deserve to not be a qt fan. i believe that you need to like tarantinos twisted style of movie making to appreciate his movies to the fullest. i give pulp fiction a10/10 always. | | Static Link |

I love the way it's laid out (not chronologically I mean, but in sections), the kick ass dialogue, the characters, the performances, and the freakin' banter that is laid out is just amusing as hell to listen to. Each story is interesting to watch and the characters are fun to observe. I'd say more, but most of it has already been said here. 10/10 | | Static Link |

The relentless effort that went into making this film, abundance of philosophical references, the amazing cast, and the brilliant chapter partitions make it worthy alone. This is Quentin Tarantino's finest work to date. And, I bought a Bad Mother Fucker wallet because Samuel L Jackson is my role model -- call me a poser, I'll still be stoic-esque | | Static Link |

The cabdriver is played by Angela Jones.... in 1991 QT took a liking to her in a short film by one of his friends..in it she played a person who was fascinated with death...just like her charactor in Pulp Fiction... in 1996 QT produced the same movie only with a bigger budget starringher, but not using the name Esmerelda as in PF....the flick is called CURDLED, its a dark Indie Comedy with one of the Baldwins as a serial killer... cant recall his name.... the flick is worth a rental..she plays a chick who is into death, and gets a job working for a cleaning service that specializes in mopping up crimes scenes. | | Static Link |

I loved the whole rape scene with those two disgusting rednecks and their deranged 'gimp' buddy who's obviously into some weird, kinky S&M stuff. That was my favourite scene in the movie, but hey, to each his own. Butch Coolidge was my second favourite character in the movie too, just behind Jules of course. | | Static Link |

I also wanted to know what the fuck is up with that sanish cab driver lady, what was her beef? Either way, it didnt diminish my enjoyment for this movie. I think that they did explain what happened to Jackson's character, Jules Winfield. Earlier in the movie, right after Butch escapes, you see Vincent Vega walking with the bartender from Wallace's club, who has presumably taken Winfield's place since he retired to 'walk the Earth.' As for the Spanish cab driver, I think she was just a weirdo that Butch happened to strike a deal with to be at a certain place at a side exit to the arena at a certain time. Just like Zed, the gimp, and the other rapist, she's just a strange character that Butch meets during his wild ride. The biggest question for me was, what was in the br... | | Read Entire Entry |

Whhhaaa?! That's the best part, IMO. Christopher Walken having a serious conversation that turns funny with the whole watch up the ass thing is frickin funny! This watch was on you daddy's wrist when he was shot down over Hanoi. He was captured and put in a Vietnamese prison camp. He knew that if the gooks ever saw the watch, they'd confiscate it--take it away. The way your dad looked at it, this watch was your birthright. He'd be damned if any slope's gonna put their greasy yellow hands on his boy's birthright. So, he hid it, in one place he knew he could hide something: his ass. Five long years he wore this watch . . . up his ass. Then, he died of dysentery, he gave me the watch. I hid this uncomfortable hunk of metal up my ass two years. Then, after seven years, I was sent home to my family. And now, little man... | | Read Entire Entry |

| Posted by: Weapon X at April 29, 2004, 3:12 pm | | Topic: Pulp Fiction {SPOILERS!} Forum: JoBlo | | My feeings for this movie can easily be summed up by the coolness of the following excerpt: "What does Marcellus Wallace look like?" "What?" "What country are you from?" "What?" "'What' ain't no country I ever heard of! They speak English in What?" "What?" "English, motherfucker, do you speak it!?" "Yes!" "Then you know what I'm saying!" "Yes!" "Describe what Marcellus Wallace looks like!" "What?" "Say 'what' again! Say 'what' again! I dare you, I double dare you, motherfucker, say 'what' one more goddamn time!" "He's black..." "Go on!" "He's bald..." "Does he look like a bitch?" "What?" *BANG!* "Does...he...look...like...a bitch!?" "No!" "Then why'd you try to fuck him like one?" "I didn't!" "Yes you did! Yes you did, Brett, you tried to fuck him! Aside from the great acting and clever directing, I remember liking the script but I forgot how good it really was. This may sound exagerrating but I would place in my top five scripts of all time. Its is so tight, so smart, and so well-written, mixing so many great genres. I know its a bold statement and I know many wouldnt agree | | Static Link |
| Posted by: Mr.HyDe807 at April 27, 2004, 10:28 pm | | Topic: Pulp Fiction {SPOILERS!} Forum: JoBlo | | Review: 10/10 {SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS} Well, after loving kill bill, ive decided to take a look at other Tarantino's movies. SO i rented Pulp Fiction from blockbuster, but unfournately, it was a fucked up tape {no dvds}. So i went back and got another one, popped it into my VCR, and had one hell of a great movie experience. Pulp Fiction is an awesome movie that deals with a group of people and how they interact throughout the movie. I loved the restaurant robbing couple {opening scene was funny as hell!}, the two hit men{Samuel L. JAckson and John Trovolta both kicked so much ass}, the boxer, the mob boss and his wife {i honestly couldnt tell that that was Uma thurman}. THe movie }for me} kept my ass into my seat and made me keep both eyes glued all the way through. THere was also comedy in this movie that didnt make me crack up until i finished watching the movie. THe part when the trovolta and JAckson raid the house holding the mysterious briefcase was so damn funny! {oh im sorry, did i break your conc... | | Read Entire Entry |
