Forum: JoBlo | | Having use to work at a movie theater, I grew increasingly tired of the smell and taste of movie theater popcorn. Now, I absolutely hate the stuff. But I do like the kind of popcorn you buy at the supermarket and pop in the microwave. That is good stuff. I use to buy pretzel bites with cheese but I don't do that anymore because movie theater food is so damn expensive. So I usually just go to Wawa or Subway and get a hoagie and cookies (from subway, other kinds of snack at Wawa). I still buy soda at the movies though because a large soda comes with a free refill. Actually, sometimes I don't even need to buy the soda because I have one of those Regal Crown Cards and sometimes get a free small soda or buy a candy for a buck. At home if I eat, it's whatever I can my hands. Which in my house with my family is typically nothing. | | Static Link |

Forum: JoBlo | | If I go to the theater, I usually don't eat anything -- this is due to the fact that its best to eat afterward and discuss the movie (unless it's something like High Tension, and you either skip the meal or go before). Typically I just get a large Coke FreezeFrame and I'm good to go. At home, however, I often do eat while a movie plays, and the food depends on the flick, since its best if the meal carries over the aesthetic of the movie: The Godfather with spaghetti or lasagna, Big Trouble in Little China with a stir-fry, The Exorcist with split-pea soup (KIDDING), but you get the picture, nyuk. | | Static Link |

Forum: JoBlo | | If it's the morning I go with cereal, afternoon then a sub loaded with whatever I can round up, night time then nachos. But I rarely eat while watching a movie. And one thing I could never understand is how people can drink alcohol and watch movies, it's impossible for me to do. | | Static Link |

Then once enjoying the movie: (Except peanuts - goes so well with the popcorn...) and sometimes... If I'm at home, it's always about cooking and being comfortable... Mmmmm..... Decadence and movies.... | | Static Link |
