I'd guess the average age in the audience was probably 35 me being on of the youngest. Maybe these people didn't know what they were about to watch, but in the end everyone was standing and applauding. This isn't saying much though considering the atmosphere at these things and the actors are there doing Q&A. Still though, a standing ovation? That being said I did enjoy the movie. Fuck an A if it isn't the most over the top, ridiculous, offensive, movie I may have ever seen. Dave Foley is the man, he lets it all hang out in this movie and he's the funniest he's been in years. Much of this film is an atrocity, but you can't avert your eyes. Uwe Boll needs no introduction. His films are all pretty awful, the difference being with POSTAL is that it's not even trying to win you over. The movie is like a giant "fuck you" from Uwe Boll, and he pisses on everything that is sacred and dares you to laugh at some pretty grim subject matter. 5/10 | | Static Link |
