The Ring 2 I believe (also drunk and stoned). Oh and Thunderdome on AMC watching it for the 1st time. All the movies mentioned prior were in theaters. | | Static Link |

It really makes me mad too when I do it. Now days I try to make sure I have a cold drink or some popcorn or gum or something to keep me active enough to stay awake. It never has to do with the movies. I’ve fallen asleep during: Revenge of the Sith (midnight showing), Batman Begins (midnight showing), There Will Be Blood (first twenty minutes, woke up from there), Hell Ride (at Sundance, midnight screening, more drifted in and out then fell asleep), Anvil! The Story Of Anvil (ditto as Hell Ride), Roman De Gare (first fifteen minutes or so, then was okay). There’s probably many more. I should just forego midnight screenings. | | Static Link |

10 minutes into RULES OF ENGAGEMENT (drunk) TRANSFORMERS (I tried to force myself to sleep so I could skip the shittiness, yet still see how it ends. Instead, I accidentally fell asleep at the last half hour; when I WANTED to stay awake!) KING RALPH
FALLEN
PICK OF DESTINY (horribly jetlagged from Vietnam. Couldn't stay awake)

| Posted by: sirdizzy at May 4, 2008, 8:47 pm | | Topic: I admit. I fell asleep during... Forum: JoBlo | | I rarely if ever fall asleep during a movie at the theatres. I have fallen asleep during 100's of movies seen at home, its late at night, you are lying in bed or on the coach and you snooze off. I remember when I saw the Cave the movie is so dark I feel asleep trying to watch it like 4 night straight. I used to fall asleep during movies all the time as a kid as my dad would take us to the drive in on Friday nights and we would see the double feature and by the time the second movie started it was like 10 or 11pm and thats too much for an 9 year old sometimes. The only movie I remember falling asleep as an adult in the theatres was the Phantom Menace and it was the 14th time I saw it (yes I am a geek). | | Static Link |

10,000 BC - Same Deal On DVD:

The movie's lame and has alot of dialogue that sounded like murmours and I kept dozing off but never actually fell asleep. I had more fun trying to keep myself awake by eating and pinching myself than watching the actual film. | | Static Link |

Aliens vs Predator. Quite possibly the worst movies I've ever seen, I passed out right before they went down into the ice pyramid or whatever the fuck it was.
