Forum: JoBlo | | There is only TWO examples I can think of where I had to turn away from the screen while watching the movie. Those are: 1. Cannibal Holocaust - When the cannibal man at the beginning was raping a woman with a rock for some ritual and then bashed her over the head with it. 2. They Call Her One Eye (aka Thriller) - The shots in the sex scenes where they inserted Close Ups of penis going into vaginas and assholes that were stock footage taken from cheap porno films. | | Static Link |

I Spit On Your Grave - The gang rape scenes
The Shining - The bathroom scene with the old woman
The Entity - The first and second rape scenes
The Nest - The scene where the giant mother cockroach crawls down the police officers throat | | Static Link |

Forum: JoBlo | | Getting off post why do most people (myself included) are happy to view humans getting tortured (Saw, Hostel etc) in any way possible yet as soon as an animal is harmed I'm seriously pissed off. Is it that I've had both dogs and cats and loved them all and want to protect them. Going on further I would it is the same with children. Any time a child is in danger especially if it's a medical issue (Regean in The Exorcist getting poked with needles) I can't watch. | | Static Link |

Call me sensitive, but it's true. Perhaps that is the reason why I won't watch all of 'Apocalypse Now'. | | Static Link |

Forum: JoBlo | | I won't nominate a specific scene just Requiem for a Dream, especially with the latter scenes with Ellen Burstyn...how she lost out to Julia Roberts at the Oscars I'll never know. She destroyed me. | | Static Link |

Forum: JoBlo | | Pretty much the entirety of Dumplings had me queasy, but the worst part was when the lady was in the bathtub at the end. It was sort of like that suicide part in Rules of Attraction but 10 times worse. I found the house invasion scene in Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer to be as disturbing as anything that I can recall just because of how realistic and sadistic the whole thing was. | | Static Link |
