The jacket looks the same as the screencap, but the face isn't split in half. Notably, the nose. You could tell from the teaser cap that the scarring invades very very slightly onto the good half so it should be close to 50/50... Plus I miss the split down the middle outfits...

I wonder how closely the action figure resembles the real thing? http://www.slashfilm.com/2008/02/20/...e-dark-knight/

Paramount got a website shut down for simply linking to a story reported by another site. Lets not argue about the idea of logic and studio demands to websites.

But mostly the confidential part.

Why do you think the studio would care about unused concept art though? Here's a thought, maybe that's how he looks initially after getting burned but after that side of his face heals over it's looks less extreme. Just a bunch of deformed scar tissue instead of a giant scab?

I'm going with real concept art, but it'll get toned down on the screen. Concept art can get really extreme (check out some of the Ghostbusters art on the DVD...)

For those who think it's fake, the AICN story now says that WB asked them to take the picture down. So that's probably a good indication that it's real....

By the way, I haven't heard anything about this, but here's Two-Face's comic debut: Notice in the 5th panel, he refers to a Dr. Ekhart? I can't find anything on it, but that's a very strange coincidence.

Quote: There’s nothing fun about this. It looks like someone glued a partially chewed Uruk-Hai on to the left half of Harvey Dent’s head. There’s nothing comic book or particularly creative about it. I don't think there was much comic book about Batman Begins. I definitely like the direction they're taking with the franchise. Scarecrow wasn't really much like Scarecrow, either. He was rooted in Scarecrow, but not as comic booky.

See more and more I think it's real. Check out the shirt and the place the burns end on the other side of his face. Now look at the official shot trailer. Mighty similar no? It's still possibly fake, but if it is, it's one of the best I've ever seen, this is no slapdash job.

I think that goes a smidge too far. I don't doubt it might have been concept art though. I'm personally fine with it, but this is Batman we're talking about. Don't want the average Joe and Jane barfing out popcorn.

AICN claims to have Two Face Concept Art. It's AiCN so it might be fake, but still, this certainly fits what Eckhart was saying about pushing it as far as it can go. http://www.aintitcool.com/node/36628

His suit's different on the left side too, it's got a green/purple checkerboardish pattern to it. And no, that wouldn't be normal graphics compression effects.

The freeze frame does look weird/fake for some reason but it's obviously in the trailer. You can even see it in the low res streaming version. AICN mentions it in their story too, just without a screenshot. People are idiots.

I think it's based on an interview where somebody said that Joker kills Harvey Dent's fiancee. I would hope it actually happens though. We need Batman to go completely mad!

You can say it. It's not a spoiler if it is in a trailer. You talking about Joker throwing Rachel Dawes off a roof? But that doesn't mean he'll kill her, this is Batman after all. He'll probably just jump off and save her.

I watched the Crappy camera-phone video and regretted it. Somebody already mentioned they'd like to go in fresh and i agree completely. So i am ignoring all further Batman hype until the movie comes out, it's going to be a bit of a siege i know, but i think i can hold out. Movie trailers of late have developed a horrible precedent of giving away all the best cinematic moments before people get to see the complete film. The Simpsons was one of the absolute worst offenders, the trailer spoiled almost all the best moments of the movie, but Iron Man too wasted some of its best scenes in the trailer. I guess who cares about the movie when the trailer has already gotten you to cough up money for a cinema seat?
