I enjoyed the animated series (is it still on anywhere?). the art for it was well done and gave the series a comic book feel without the Adam West campy-ness. Which I think is the reason I don't care for the first series of movies that much; it tried to recreate the 1960's camp and be dark at the same time and it just didn't work; oh and that much neon should be against some rule somewhere!

This list is crap in my eyes. The top ten are all series that are barely over ten years old at their oldest. Where are some of the older television series? Some of these shows are great but others I've never even heard of. M.A.S.H. didn't make the list and it's a series that lasted longer than the war it portrayed.

I'm a huge fan of the Alien series (I can still remember the first time I saw Aliens and Alien 3). This news also doesn't disappoint me. Alien:R is an abomination to the series, moreso than either AVP movie. If Sigourney said, "We were thinking of devising a way to go back in time so we could NOT make Alien:R," then I would be all for her. The Alien series has ended. It can't, in my opinion, be recovered using the same story arc. A new series with a new plot/characters (maybe one between Alien 3 and Alien:R) could be an option.

I really think Scream 3 made the whole series look like shit.I hated it because now they say that Roman was the killer an not Stu and Billy.I mean come on! That ruined the whole damn series. The only time I laughed was when the cameo part of Jay and Silent Bob.And another thing, everybody fucking lived! Geese, they could of at least killed Gayle or something.I hate Scream 3 and I think it's the worst in the series!

They ought to think of a different title. That way it won't confuse people like poor little me. Did the Tarta series end with the kidnapping of the chancellor? I liked the Tarta series because of the stories, but the characters looked stupid.

Does Stallone live in te re-make? Anyway, I love hard-boiled, realistic crime flicks and nobody does them as well as the brits do... BTW Brock, are you familiar with british TV series such as Cracker, GBH, Edge Of Darkness and so on... NOBODY does serious, moody, intelligent and dark crime series like the brits do... Fuck, I have to get those series on video, I wonder if they are available...

The Simpsons should have ended as a series around 2000. The jokes in the last 6 or so series just aren't up to the standard of the episodes in the early to mid 90s. From series 2-8 it cannot be beat. The movie just was not funny. The only gag that made me laugh came from comic book guy when he records grandpa simpson having an epileptic fit on his mobile phone. The story bored me too. Matt Groening surely must know that the show is not as funny or as clever as it once was?

I don't think there'd be as many complaints if this was just a tv series. .... which, if i'm not mistaken, it is. It's kinda like complaining about the production values of the Battlestar Galactica Razor movie that was shown in theaters. That said, why not make a series about a different moment in Star Wars? as mentioned before, there's already a series based on this. Not to mention, it just isn't that interesting. Why not make a bunch of new characters and THEIR adventures? Something a little less epic, and a little more like the first film? How about that, George?

As a fan of the series who has seen every episode, and as a male (albeit a bisexual one, I mean hey, I love the ladies, but I won't deny enjoying men as well, and some of the fashion and girly stuff that goes along with homosexuality) I adored the film. The characters were all wonderful and great from the series, and I loved Jennifer Hudson's small but pivotal role. It was funny and charming and very sweet and romantic, but also a bit dirty and dark at times, reaching emotional heights the series never quite strived for, and hitting a few disgusting yet hilarious moments. I will admit that the film is a bit bloated at nearly 140 minutes, but I enjoyed almost all of it, and it felt like returning home to some great friends. I wouldn't recommend it to most straight males or people who aren't fans of the series, but for those of us out there (and there are a lot of us) the film captures the magic, the sex, the romance, and the emotion of the series and is truly enjoyable. 8/10

I think "NOES 2" is just one of those movies where the writers gathered together and said "Let's put all kinds of dumb shit in it, no matter how much it sucks arse if we compare it to the original because we aren't gonna loose any money because boyz, this flick will make money!". This is not a bad thing, actually it's pretty entertaining if you don't compare it to the mighty Craven film. As it is, it's certainly the step child of the Elmstreet series, like HALLOWEEN 3 and FRIDAY 5 are for their franchises. It's neither as over-the-top as 3,4 & 5, nor is it a straight out horror comedy like part 6. I don't count NEW NIGHTMARE into this series so I don't compare it to that. All in all, these series have done way worse (I hate Part 4) but way better too (1,3,5 ), and as a part of the series, this is a rather unique movie and worth a watch for fans of the series. All others should stick to the original or part 3. 6/10

A solid way to end a solid series. And in my opinion, this was the best in the series. Even more suspense, more humor and more wit. I love the scene where Jenny McCarthy hides in the room with all the scream masks. And the whole scene in Parker Posey's house and when the house blows up is just wonderfully executed. All in all, the most entertaining one in the series.

I figure this is as good a place as anywhere to make a first post, considering how much money I've spent on these shiny lil discs over the years Most of 'em have been brought between the start of 2000 and the end of 2005, 'cause since moving "into the real world" as the parents call it, my spending power has been somewhat eaten away, due to rent, council tax, utility payments etc.. Still at the moment I'm saving up for either the complete Buffy the Vampire Slayer collection, or the complete X-Files collection, so it aint all bad I suppose it goes without saying, based on these pics, but my digital camera is a old piece of garbage, which is why hardly any of the pictures come out any good - this one shows two of the "bigger" boxsets - the R1s of ET - The Ultimate Collection, and Spider-man 1, as well as my Harry Potter books, dvds and some other lil bits of memorabilia (I used to have quite a few Kubricks, but I sold 'em off to a friend not long after moving) The following images, are of m...
