No. I expect a movie to deliver what it promises. This movie is a chase movie. Throughout the movie Chigurh is after Moss and the money. How could the movie not be building up to what should be the inevitable showdown between them? I don't understand how anyone seeing the movie is not expecting that to be THE moment the movie is building upto. And the movie fails to deliver there. Other than the ending, I really didn't find the movie to be THAT unconvential anyway. As I said before, it's basically a chase movie told through the perspective of an aging police sheriff who is always one step behind. | | Static Link |

For a movie callled Highwaymen, there is a suprising lack of car chases. Suprisingly, despite the movie clocking in at a very skimpy 80 minutes, the movie doesn't feel rushed. But the movie was still too short and as such, the characters and situations could have been developed more. Jim Caviezel, Rhona Mitra and Frankie Faison are all solid but the real star of the movie is Colm Feore who is great as the driver/killer. So this movie could have been and should have been better. But it's still a reasonably entertaining and well paced thriller. 6/10 Grade: B- | | Static Link |

My favorite movie. The 2nd best movie of the 90's. One of the best movies ever made. This movie is just sheer brilliance. The acting is dead on, including many of the supporting actors (The Boss, Bob, Angel Face). The plot is great, and filled with countless of little details that make the movie the gem that it is. The humor is GREAT, and the direction is absolutely amazing. The acting was bad, especially the two boys, they were terrible I thought. I can't nail it down, but the movie was just off, especially the beginning 1/3. It may have been the music, or lack thereof, but the movie was just weird to watch. There wasn't enough comedic counterpoints to the serious parts. The hog guy that ate birds was funny, but only for a few minutes. The movie was also very predictable. I had never heard of this series before the movie, but I could see what was coming in the movie before it happened. The CGI was a little bad. Not terrible, but could have been better. Overall the movie was just a let down. It failed to achieve any kind of epicness and is only suitable as a B list kids movie, which I guess it is. It doesn't appeal to me as an adult the way LOTR or Narnia did. | | Static Link |

If I didn't like a movie more than likly I think that movie suck, as is the case here. I can see good points in a movie I think sucks. Like in this movie and the movie's directing. It was very well done, but the movie as a whole sucked (for reasons said in the link and here). Mike like I said before if you want to see a Lynch movie start with something better and leave this one either alone or veiw it later. | | Static Link |

It actually has that batman feel, but manages to be a comedy. There is just so much off the wall shit (such as shark repellant) that makes this movie great. I used to love the old show for which the movie was based, but it has been a while. Adam West is the man. What do you guys think of this movie? 9/10 | | Static Link |
