| Magnolia (P.T. Anderson, 1999) Seeing as My Left Foot didn't arrive through the post, I decided to watch a Paul Anderson movie rather than a DDL one. This is definately one of the best movies of the 90's, performances are excellent all-round, the screenplay is amazingly clever and every scene in the film manages to work and have an effect on the viewer. P.T. Anderson has said that he honestly thinks he won't make a film better than Magnolia (I shall find out if that's true later today) and one can see why. 10/10 |
