Carpenters second film is one of my favourite of all time. Maybe it's because it's like Night of the Living Dead. maybe it's because it's kinda realistic. i don't know. but I've probably seen this one the most out of any of my collection. It's a simple story about a few people including murderer convicts and a police officer in a nearly aboandon police station who have to fight for lives when a large inner city gang declares war on them. As for the acting, it's brutal, the effects, they're brutal, but there's just something about this film that makes me like it so much. oh yeah, if you don't like low budget movies you won't like this. 1976 91 Mins Score: (9\10)
