Why bother? It's pretty much just more of the same. I can tell that Wes Craven didn't have his heart in it; all the thrills are long gone. Let's face it, he only did this in exchange for making "Music of the Heart." The final revelation is, to me, little more than a sign of desperation to (unsuccessfully) inject some life back into the series. If that wasn't a rec-con, I don't know what is. I liked Lance Henriksen, but his screen time is insufficient to make any difference. Jenny McCarthy's cameo is just a pointless bit of stunt casting. I did like the cameo by Kevin Smith, but I wish he had a larger role. "Scream 3" is slightly better than the second installment, but not by much. 5/10 [This message has been edited by Cyclonus (edited 08-18-2001).]
