Dan, I thought the Aimee Mann moment was one of the most daring/comic/moving moments in recent cinema. I admire Paul Thomas Anderson because he is not afraid to puush the boundaries of film. To sudenly have the entire cast burst into song? a shower of frogs? brilliant Anderson's greatest quality is surely his lack of timidity and willingness to experiment
