Hollowman was the first time I bought a DVD without haven' seen the movie first. Hollowman will be the last DVD I buy on a whim without having first seen the movie. This movie (like soooo many) does start out with promise but totally jumps the shark not even half way threw. The whole idea of the invisible thing should have (call me sick, but) been taken to the next level. (spoilers) case in point when he rapes the girl next door. Not that I want to see a girl get raped (ugh), but they could have showed more of a struggle, ect..they could've delved more into that whole concept of him invisible in regular society! Instead they show is dorky invisible ass hanging around the underground lab most of the fucking movie. All this leading up to an oh my God- epitomy of Jump the fucking Shark HOLLYWOOD Ending. God this movie sucked. The least they could have done is given us a nice clear money shot of Elisabeth Shue *yeah baby yeah!!T%#&#!!@ (see the waterfall seen in Cocktail for a truly religious life-changing experience) (god-damn they are big-round-and-beautiful) Hollow Man a well deserved 4.5/10 [This message has been edited by Bud_Fox (edited 08-22-2001).]
