Topic: "Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace" (6/10) Forum: JoBlo

I was never entangled in the Star Wars hype when this was released, but i was still disappointed. I think George Lucas has been too secluded from the real film audience all the way out in Skywalker Ranch. Messy editing, cinematography was less than average, acting was ok, but under-par in parts, the music was very good again, and the story was interesting, but dealt in an un-interesting manner. 6/10. Star Wars: 8/10
The Empire Strikes Back: 10/10
Return of the Jedi: 7.5/10 I have high hopes for Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones. [This message has been edited by ak (edited 10-01-2001).]
