You are so right! I saw this movie because it looked funny and I love Reese Witherspoon. Well, it ended up being hilarious. Reese cracked me up and I don't think anyone else could have played Elle Woods. Reese was a blast to watch and I highly enjoyed this movie. I caught it twice in the theater. It comes out on video this next week and you can bet I'll be renting it, I have to see it again. It was one of the best comedies of 2001. Reese Witherspoon is brilliant in this movie, she really gets into the character, and believe it or not, she should get an Oscar nomination. She was GREAT in Election and perfect as Tracy Flick, here she was perfect as Elle Woods. She really gets into her characters and is one of the best actresses in Hollywood today. BIG THUMBS UP to LEGALLY BLONDE and BIG THUMBS UP to Reese Witherspoon. Don't dismiss Legally Blonde as a dumb blonde movie, rent it and I gaurantee that you will probably enjoy it. One of my favorites of the year! Grade: 8/10
