At first I was thinking "whoa, a 9/10, are you nuts." But then after reading your review I know why. Sometimes a person can see a movie that everyone hated and end up loving it. Because the movie hits close to home. And even though everyone hated it you just can't help but love it because you can relate to it. I could relate to LOSER a some because I was in love with my best friend who was in love with someone else. So I really felt for Paul when he got that pizza and a video and then she went off with the other guy. That was actually really sad. I know how that feels. So I could relate to it based on that level and unlike almost everyone else I too really enjoyed the flick. It was surprisingly really sweet and romantic. Not really a comedy at all and certainly nothing new but still a really good teen movie that was pretty charming. Jason Biggs and Mena Suvari were excellent and really cute together. I own the movie and I must say it was one of the better teen romance comedies to come out in awhile at the time. On the teen movie scale LOSER rates as a 8/10 in my book.
