You can try and call this one "over-the-top" but that's a euphemism for incredibly stupid. Hey let's put the 50 most dangerous guys in the world on one plane! Oh yeah bring that one guy who is being released. Yeah the one with the awful Southern accent (I think he used his stock bad Southern accent in this film....truthfully I saw it once and never wanted to see it again). Of course the simple plot continues in a linear fashion- trouble insues. Ok so interesting situation that just becomes even more fucking stupid. Let's crash into Las Vegas! It was at that point that I thought it would be more worthwhile to comb my ass hair than watch this film. Cage was his usual action role self- an incredible waste of talent. The only redeeming feature was Buscemi who was genuinely disturbing. A whopping 3/10 |
